Newbie here.
I found a sealed PS5 Slim and I’m hesitating to buy it mainly for jailbreak potential. The seller says it was bought on March 28, but I have no idea about the firmware.
Do you think there’s still a chance it could be on a jailbreakable firmware or are most sealed Slims from that period already too recent?
Just trying to know if it’s worth the gamble before I spend the money. Thanks !

i’m kinda new to this stuff so sorry if this is a dumb post, but i’m a bit lost with my ps3
it’s a ps3 slim CECH-3004A, i installed HEN 4.93 yesterday mostly just to get avatars, didn’t play any games or anything. i used psn patch a few times to disable syscalls and everything was working fine
this morning though HEN started acting weird, like even after enabling it the “enable HEN” icon was still there, like it didn’t properly activate
then i opened psn patch again like i did before, and this time i just got a black screen. i waited a bit but nothing happened so i turned the console off
since then i can’t get any image at all. the ps3 turns on, i can hear the fan slightly, but there’s no signal on screen and after like 30 seconds it just shuts off. i also tried safe mode but i can’t get into it, only get one beep
so yeah now i’m wondering if i somehow bricked it or ?
if anyone has seen this before or has any idea what i could try i’d really appreciate it

EDIT: removed hdd and it turned on leading me to hdd failure; put it back again and tried turning it on and it… worked? so glad it works again, wouldn’t be able to say what the problem was tho
