I made a game where you connect artists via their song features

you could think of it like movietomovie (or Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon) but for music. you basically just try to get from one artist to another through the songs they’ve featured on!

give it a try and let me know what you think! 😊

Look at your fave's most recent album- which track should set the blueprint for their next album?

Sometimes an artist will do a complete 180 between albums and the two sound nothing alike (see: Demi Lovato jumping from punk rock to EDM) but a lot of the time you can hear a little glimmer of whatever's next in whatever's now, especially with artists who like to mess around and do a lot of different things on one album.

So, here's the challenge:

  1. Look at the track list for an artist's most recently released album.

  2. Pick one track that you think is really good. Describe what you think makes it so good (the sound, the theme, the genre, etc.).

  3. Based off of this song, imagine what the vibe of their next album should be.

For example:

> "Plastic Box," was my favorite song on THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY- JADE tried a lot of different approaches to synthpop on the album but I think this is the one where she nailed it the best by balancing the catchiness with the high drama without getting too weird. It almost feels like a Robyn cut from the Body Talk days, and I would love to see her lean into it more with her next album because I feel like she's one of the few pop girls today who could really pull it off.
