Late Bloomers perchance
I’ve been missing out all this time. 11 hours into the game, and I felt like a kid again playing Pokémon Ruby on my cousin’s GBA. 🥺🤣❤️
We got to see a sneak peek of the new Pokemon Fossil Museum exhibit at Chicago’s Field Museum! Spoilers for the Pokemon fossils ahead, I have more pictures and merch that I can post too.
ETA: Exhibit exclusive merch pics in comments! lol I'm just realizing there's an online Pokemon Center shop with some of this merch - there is exclusive merch in-store with PFM logo/theming (like sweatpants/sweatshirt, fossil excavator shirt, skeleton tees) but there's a lot on the online store that isn't in the physical shop at the Field - any TCG items, all of the shirts/hats online are different than the ones in store, magnets, and the skeleton dishware (mug, water bottle) were not available in person currently. It could be that they want to limit stock options to deal with huge anticipated crowds and not have to keep constantly restocking.

Today I attended the early preview of The Pokémon Fossil museum x Field. I attached a few photos to get you guys excited!
When the collaboration was announced last year I was excited and eager to visit the Field Museum in Chicago. Pokémon in my book holds a nostalgic place! I was happy to experience the exhibit which exhibited a cool twist on fossils.
Exhibit: Colorfully lit with expert lighting and plaques. There are a few ‘Pokémon paleontologists’ located throughout the exhibit which adds a few interactive elements (touching replica fossils of the T-Rex Sue). They utilize in some waypoints a contrast Pokémon fossils to real fossils which brings you back into reality in a good way. (I was kind of hoping to see someone running around in a Pokémon mascot costume? lol that’s just the whimsy speaking)
Gift shop:
I bought a few things from the ‘Pokémon museum store’. They had these interesting t tex and pterodactyl sets with skeletal insides and the Pokémon’s shell I believe. Many pieces from the looks of the box lol. I bought one of each I can post if interested. I was limited 5 items per customer and some items were limited 1 person customer ( T-Rex and pterodactyl Pokémon). I believe those sets were also the only things that said they were exclusive to the location ( this is noted in the sign ).
Overall, I think it’s really exciting to see a franchise from your childhood be reimagined. They did an excellent job! I wouldn’t definitely say this is geared towards just kids because the museum has so many world class offerings!

I drew her for my friend's birthday.
I wanted to try out giving Pikachu some unique coat patterns like how a lot of domesticated (and not) animals do! It’s a little harder to tell your Pokemon apart from others when every member of the species looks identical.
Just found my old Switch Lite and booted it up again, forgot about this game completely, I ran this game into the ground when it dropped. Rate my squad and fit 😤💪🏻
He’s got:
an ultra beast
A mythical
Competitive Pokémon’s biggest menace
Special form doggy
His level 1000 pikachu
And an unevolved Rowlet
Fun fact is that his Rowlet was the only team member in his alola team that resists ground
my defiant and disrespectful pet alien keeps climbing the telephone poles to hunt the transformers. he is costing me thousands in repairs

I made this silly guy after playing Pokopia for the first time because the MC’s face is very goofy and i thought it’d look cute on a keychain, so of course I made a version with my favorite trainer ( Gladion ).
On one side he has his regular hair, on the other I tried doing something similar to the actual MC’s hair which looks kinda blobby. I made it look a bit too molten but, I think it’s cute nonetheless!
I wear it everyday lol.
