cry level 81：I understand the creators chose this approach for game balance, but starting with drones, I've found it difficult to acquire weapons and equipment like these.

We decided to go for a hospital run to waste some ammo, not realizing we both had barely enough filters. I almost made it to the helipad before getting downed, and my friend tried to drag me the rest of the way to the helipad, while his last filter was also running out. Exfil was bugged so we both just died there.

For the FIRST piece of body armor we will talk about the defender 2 EMERALD and covers for it in multicam, Senezh did not get sophisticated plate carriers till about late 2015 and it was a SLOW process keep in mind kubinka-2 in 2014 got early 6b43s which could be said is considerably better than the defender at the time

Now that we set the stage this is the transitional period where we see a LOT of contracts and stopgaps of reissuing and dedicated plate carriers that are still used today

1: FORT GOPLIT (overt version also seen in multicam with Kubinka-2) Popular with zaslon this was seen in syria in its greyish versions initially both with SENEZH and KUBINKA dating 2015 its dated by todays standards blocky and not that comfortable but for a change it was more modular could even be stripped down and lighter than a defender although not impressive in that aspect it was a good stopgap and can even be seen reissued to 561st guys today (image 1 and 2)

2: MBC TACTEC/511 tactec in sandstone: INITIALLY issued to senezh specifically bikers team then seen widely it was issued in late 2015 early 2016 around that timeperiod it did not differ much from the 511 tactec asidr from swift clips for rigs and a few cosmetic and quality of life changes. I SUSPECT because there is one member in the team with a 511 tactec in sandstone (which is khaki roughly these are like coyote) that they saw the tactec liked it and made a special order from MBC or a guy that didnt get the mbc tactec bought a 511 one instead it continues to see VERY minor use with veterans today MOSTLY with senezh. A few tactecs can be seen here and there. (Image 3 and 4)

3: Fort gladiator C,D and B: originally issued to the FSB these were probably requested for the already explained issue and they were very modular, seen with kubinka 2 mainly and even STILL seen with kubinka 2s dive department (dm for image) its large cumbersome and not very friendly to smaller guys but it does its job, comparable to the US IOTV but a ton more modular.

4: R KARBID CUBANO CORTES: in about 2016 to 2017 Kubinka 2 was searching for a dedicated plate carrier and they ended up adopting the kubano,affordable,simple,rugged and perfect for their mission it was compact and well made issued in green and multicam it sees service with multiple units and 561st liked it so much that the famous team KUBAN was part of is the most famouse with said carrier (probably a unit purchase im NOT sure just never seen erc with them on ever since) (images 6 and 7)

After a while SSO basically went out to sponsors they wore kit in comps and they essentially got what they wanted (gearcraft,mbc,ars arma etc) Atoms can be seen with senezh as early 2018 id say i COULD be very wrong so feel free to retcon, however they didnt get anything new till 2020 which is Supe interesting and a budget option.

5 UR TACTICAL, OPS ITPC: the newly issued plate carrier since 2020 a simple effective plate carrier not nice to bigger dudes do to the awkward cumberbund adjustment but its solid for what it is its just not impresive IT WAS ONLY ISSUED IN ATACS IX along side its pouch suite however guys may buy pouches from said brand in other colors this plate carrier has seen combat and was not the only thing adopted from the company alongside combat pants and matching shirts (oh also the ops elf pack and some custom items you just cannot get)apparently issued to all sso units but i have NOT Seen them with 561st of course we dont have that much public from them since they are very private senezh and kubinka are often seen at competitions (image 8)

Keep in mind most guys rather buy their own stuff but this is just laying out the most important issue items not covering NICHE sponsors because thats not standard issue same with G99 stuff

(MISC: POST 2023: kbs strelok has seen issuing with SSO not to the largest of scale but it has seen issuing no refs aside from comps)
