Prediction for upcoming Open-World update.
The next update coming to Blackhawk rescue mission 5 has been stated to bring major changes to open world and introduce long time requested features such as the M320 grenade launcher, Here are some predicted features coming in the next BRM5 update.
Ammunition types and variety
This feature has recently been tested on the MCX platform with SubSonic/SuperSonic .300 Blackout ammo and the M320 grenade launcher with "variety of 40mm rounds". We will likely see new ammunition types such as High velocity, Precision, and armor piercing for common calibers like 5.56 in the near future.
Body armor mechanics
With Limb penetrations added into the game, we might see the introduction of ballistic armor for both players and enemy AI soon, Very likely this feature will be completed by the end of summer for open world once Ammunition types have been refined.
New missions for open world
Platinum 5 Developer and map designer Gravity_Defier has teased new quests are currently under development for an unnamed game mode, Very likely we will see these new missions in Ronograd similar to Gen 3 or the future South-East Asia open world map.
With large updates to the PVE Zombies game mode on hold for the future and the SEA map predicted to release by Q4, we might see quests returning to Ronograd island in some form.
