Just joined the club!

Was just walking around the store, saw these. Originally thought it was just misplaced, surely they can't be 50 dollars right? Even if it's almost 4 years old?

It was.... It was 50 dollars for a brand new pair of Pixel buds pro. I had to get them since I wasn't entirely happy with galaxy Buds FE. They have been great! Sounds nice and the ANC is good enough. I love the finish of the case and it's been good!

bought this 3 years ago just for 42$ (new) used them heavily and they still works fine!

PIXEL BUDS A (1st gen)

Just curious to see what people would like to see be implemented/change. Personally, i would like to see UWB Tracking added, pixelsnap be implemented as a way to charge, better noise canceling, and a slimmer, smaller case, though that might require a redesign to the buds itself. Personally, I've never been a big fan of touch controls, always found it not as reliable compared to stem controls like Samsung and Apple.

Options for keeping Pixel Buds Pro 2 in your ears?

I can't find any triple flange/long tips or wings that are compatible. Any recommendations out there?

This is bizarre, so apologies beforehand. My buds with case are somewhere in house, but can't find them. I am fairly certain that they are in here as phone is able to detect them and show battery level (see picture). First I thought I've lost them outside, but when I move from home, battery status disappears.

Is there a way to "ping" my case? Connect via Bluetooth does not work. Thanks

Pixel Buds 2a LE Audio

Wanted to share how I managed to get LE Audio to work on my Pixel 8(on Android 16 QPR2) with the Pixel Buds 2a. Initially I setup my Pixel Buds 2a using Fast Pair without enabling "Bypass Bluetooth LE Audio allowlist" in Developer options, so I couldn't find any LE Audio options in the Pixel Buds app(opened by Bluetooth settings). I had to enable the "Bypass Bluetooth LE Audio allowlist" setting and then forget my Pixel Buds 2a(in Bluetooth settings), connect my 2a again via Fast Pair, then there're new "Audio sharing" and "Find an audio stream" settings(see 2nd pic) in the Pixel Buds app. There's also a new "LE Audio" toggle under "More settings"(see 3rd pic) in the Pixel Buds app.

Not sure if this makes a difference in audio quality since I haven't tested anything yet. Credits to the Pixel Buds Pro 2 owners for sharing what Bluetooth settings to enable so I could get here.

Pixel 9 and A Series Buds

I accidentally disconnected my Pixel Buds and have tried to reconnect them. However, I can only get this screen. I'm on Android 16 and I know it has to be an issue with the Pixel 9 and it works perfectly on Samsung A16. Any ideas how to fix it? It is driving me crazy!

Warning: Rant follows.

I recently purchased a set of Pixel Buds Pro 2. They are fantastic, and I really like them.

I particularly liked being able to select between the various noise cancelling settings on the Pixel Buds APP. Straight-forward and simple. Four software buttons. Pick which one you want for the situation you're in.

Suddenly, those four software buttons are gone. Now I'm forced to sit there, tapping on the bud, cycling through each setting one at a time, and having to listen to determine which setting I've just initiated.

This is the kind of thing that drives me crazy. The software app was fine, no need to change it. I could see which mode I was in, and go directly to another mode, without having to cycle through them all.

I sometimes think that changes like this are made purely so software engineers can justify their salaries. I'm sorry, software engineers, but that's the way it seems.

Anyway, I don't expect the gods at Google will listen to one tiny complaint. But at least I got it off my chest.

Thanks for reading this far, if you did.

Audio fidelity/quality decreases when on "off" mode in ANC settings (Pixel Buds Pro 2)

Audio fidelity/quality decreases when on "off" mode in ANC settings (Pixel Buds Pro 2)

Has anyone else this issue? This never happened with my OG Pixel Buds Pro.

In the Pixel Buds settings if I set the ANC to off, the audio quality drops quite dramatically making the audio sound rather tinny.

When cycling through to adaptive the audio quality suddenly shoots up. Has anyone else experienced this before? Is there some obscure setting that I've kissed in the buds setting app? 😅 I've tried both resetting and forgetting; and it still exhibits the same behaviour :(

TIA :)

Audio options missing

Hi everyone!

I have the Pixel Buds Pro 2, and for while now, the controls for the noise canceling that is supposed to show in the volume panel, does not show.(Like the picture).

Anyone with the same issue?

Just when you push them in and expect the "click" feeling they stop and won't go in anymore. I've tried several cable with no luck.

I bought them in December of 2025. Is there a warranty and how would I imitate a claim? Or, has anybody had this happen and fixed it? All I tried so far was compressed air.

Thanks

Well it happened, i lost my left pixel bud pro 2 :(

The tracking service isn't working anymore. Does anyone know a cheaper place to get a replacement than the official Google store?

My ear buds started making a clicking sound in one ear and I was able to send them back and get a new pair sent to me all within 5 days.

Great warranty! I am very pleased.

Strange outdated/mixed Pixel Buds Settings menu UI?

Device: Pixel 8

Version: Android 17 QPR1

Pixel Buds Model: Pixel Buds 2a

The Pixel Buds app is up to date, and so are my earbuds.

It looks like the Android 14 Pixel Buds menu UI mixed with the Android 16 one. Why is this happening?

1st image: mine

2nd image: how it's supposed to look

Help! Right bud quieter and makes hissing/humming noise in Noise Cancellation or Transparency Mode

I would love some help with this. My right bud has been making hissing/humming noises whilst in nice cancellation or transparency mode. It doesn't make weird noises when these settings are set to "off".

I've been tinkering with developer settings and now I don't know what should be set to what so I'm not sure if it is something to do with that.

Ice cleaned both buds with mikkeller water and disconnected and repaired them. None of this has worked.

Any other ideas or do I need to contact Google and hope for a replacement?

Lost my buds pro 1, in the find hub where they are already registered, it just says "haven't been contacted for 7 days" and a blank GPS sign.

So is that it? No chance of seeing where they were last connected? No chance to play sound to try and find?

What's the point of it then?

Hey there

Does anyone have the left pixel bud they can possibly ship to Canada? Shipping and price can be discussed of course. I lost mine during my run and I loved my buds :(

Or does anyone need one right Pixel bud with a case? 😅
