It's almost here! Who's everyone getting? I'm only missing Phoebe, BUI, and Fox, and I already have everyone at A1 and above so I'm going to expand my roster and invest in Fox for when he gets his buff later down the line.
So I did all the story content, all trials, got all personas, all events, Thieves secrets, even finished all levels of metro… I hope I‘m missing something…
I just got Joker from the selector and don’t know where to use him 😭
I didn't pay *too* close attention to the reactions to 5X first being announced, but I definitely didn't see "Yay, playing as the original P5 cast!"
Like okay, it's got P5 in the name. But this is a spinoff in an alternate universe. The pull of the game was *original* new characters and a new story, not the original PTs being playable in a mobile gacha.
The 5D characters are cool and fun, I'm all for mixing in the 5 cast and 3R cast and upcoming 4R cast, but I think no new OCs since Berry (technically Blitz was the last one as an actual Idol) is a valid complaint too. Saying the original P5 cast was the main draw of this game is absurd to me.
What are y'all's thoughts? Haven't seen anyone here talking about the "lack of new OCs"

It seems his perks are only buffs to his unit in Wonder World and only has 10 ranks so it's probably different in some ways to regular Synergies? Also the wording implies the other P5 characters might get one too, so I'm curious what's everyone's thoughts on this.

So I’ve been working with a 3d printing company to recreate the masks from the game. Just showing my progress. Wind is almost done. Frostgale Mont is next.

Selector in hand, and I'm quite inclined to choose BUI, but then comes the post title: is she really as bad as they say?
According to Najox on Twitter, Joker doesn't change Personas but technically switches roles based on his Skill (Buffing in Skill 1, Debuffing in Skill 2, Almighty DMG in Skill 3). That being said, his role stays as Virtuoso, unlike the Twins, who can be considered as one of the other 6 roles. His major gimmick is triggering All Out Attack without needing to knock down all enemies. In addition, he converts some of his CRIT Stat into final damage that increases AOA damage.
He also has a Global Passive that deals additional fixed damage when doing All Out Attacks, which scales depending on his Awareness level.
Also, a first look at the Symphatizer Social Link, which now takes form in a VN-like format. On one hand, funny and cute, and also full body sprites for the first time, but on the other hand, a bit worried that this would signal that the game has budget cuts. Hopefully that wasn't the case.
Queen is still a decent unit, currently. And her LV100 has not come out yet in CN, so is it possible that she will get one, and it will make her super OP, just like they did with Fox? Just because it doesn't exist currently doesn't mean she's not future proof like Fox is, right?
We already knew that the dancing units will be coming but even after seeing the opening I don’t really have that much excitement. It’s worse that we might have to trudge through every single dancing Phantom Thief as well. I thought we were almost free from Persona 3 collab?
I know giving Chord her A1 is the best move, yet I don’t think is fun to claim a shard from a free character selector
I’m missing BUI and PHOEBE, i have all the others with their signature weapon and some at A1, so I was thinking on getting one of those 2 with her signature weapon from the free weapon selector, BUI being my best option since I don’t have any Elec dps and I dont plan pulling for Akihiko
I could also choose PHOEBE, but I have Futaba and Ange so I don’t think I’ll ever use her except for Astrolabe.
Should I just get A1 Chord and stop being delusional about BUI or Phoebe being any useful at this point?
