We posted a few days ago about recruiting a doctor to Orléans. Here he is. Now accepting patients.

Hello Ottawa! We posted recently about recruiting a new family doctor to the community.

This is Dr. Ogunbanjo. He has over 13 years of experience and has joined Orleans Family Health Clinic. He is now accepting new patients.

If you've been without a family doctor, you can learn more at centrumpharmacy.com/get-a-physician or you can go straight to centrumpharmacy.com/waiting-list-form/ to submit a web form and we'll help get you matched.

Happy to answer any questions in the comments.

Daycares in Orleans

Hi!

I just moved to Orleans from Manitick and I'm just looking for info/reviews about daycares. Looking into The Little School to see if I can send my daughter next year because the trek to our old daycare is too far, but I heard from a friend there was a bit of drama or something going on there. I'm not able to find more in my parenting group. Just want to hear some honest reviews about the staff and management before contacting them.

Thanks!

Reliable mechanic

Good morning! Recently moved to Orleans from Montreal. In need of a reliable mechanic in the Ottawa area. A good mechanic is like a family doctor… you keep them forever. Would really appreciate any info or recommendations.

Thank you in advance. 😊🚙

A new global survey by financial services firm Remitly has ranked Ottawa as the best city in Canada for Gen Z residents, placing it 8th globally among 250 cities evaluated.

The study assessed factors such as affordability, safety, quality of life, youth unemployment, and cost of social activities.

Ottawa stood out for its high safety scores, strong quality of life, and relatively affordable lifestyle compared to other major Canadian cities.

Other Canadian cities ranked included Calgary, Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver, all positioned lower on the list.
