I recently started a local media project for Muslims in my city. The idea is simple: share useful, relevant content for the community.

Right now, I’m posting:

• Local news
• Events (Islamic events, community gatherings, etc.)

On top of that, I built a mobile app that includes:

• Listings (grocery stores, restaurants, mosques ...)
• Events
• News
• Job opportunities

Basically, I’m trying to create a small ecosystem for Muslims locally.

Now I’m at the stage where I’m asking myself two big questions:

1. Growth:
How would you promote something like this locally?

2. Monetization:
What would be the best way to monetize this without hurting the user experience?

If anyone here has built something similar (community-based app, directory, or media), I’d really appreciate your advice.

Hey everyone,

I’ve built an app using React + Capacitor (via Google AI Studio) and now I want to publish it on the Apple App Store.

The problem is: I don’t have access to a Mac.

I know Xcode is required for iOS builds, so I’m trying to figure out the best workaround without having a Mac just for this.

I’d love to know what worked for you (and what to avoid).

Also curious about costs and any limitations I should expect.
