Never honks, just screams

I thought it all of them honked but he never does! He sometimes sounds like waluigi and runs like a lemur. He's truly a creature and nothing like any cat I met. He's my clingy baby and I couldn't be happier to have him.

My lovely green eyed lady

A quiet Friday in Colorado. She's been fascinated by the falling snow all day today. I've been fascinated watching her watch the snow.

Cat wheel recommendations

I’m going to get a new OSH kitten and am thinking that a wheel will be a good option if one of the three doesn’t want to play “racetrack” with the other two.

There’s plenty of space for running and playing but a wheel could add another option.

I understand there’s a good Canadian brand, and I live close enough to get to Vancouver BC.

TIA

First-Time Oriental Breed Mama Jitters

Hi friends! I hope it’s okay to post here. I have an Oriental longhair (outcross girlie) from a lovely breeder (Kokiri). She has travelled all the way from New York to Atlantic Canada to join our little family. Her name was Maddie but since I’m also Maddie to family/friends/coworkers we call her Audley now and it seems to get her attention :)

How long did your babies take to trust you? Especially if you got them as adults (she is 1.5 years old). She is eating her meals in her “welcome room” like a champ and I’m in regular contact with her breeder to provide updates. I just love to get some reassurance from other owners when possible (I come from the purebred dog world, though cats suit our lifestyle better so we currently have 1 other domestic shorthair at home). She won’t yet eat in front of me and usually hides when I go in. But it’s also only day 3. She’s also using the litter box, yay!

ETA: the photo was taken at the cattery before she joined us - we do have that same cat wheel now that will be available for her to use when she’s feeling braver/exploring outside of her room. Our domestic girl is already sniffing it, haha.

Pixie is finally settled in

She's been apart of our family for two months+ now and both boys are totally in love with her. So happy with the addition.

Кот производитель

Доброго дня.

Вопрос.

У меня ориентальная кошка, египетского типа, классическая, ebony.

Я хочу найти ей кота для вязки, породы ориентальная или петерболд.

Это реально?

My bestest friend, 5 year old rescue. Truly the cuddliest, sweetest girl - she'd live in my skin if she could!
