Your kid was super cute. They did the right thing asking first and waiting patiently. I’m sorry I wasn’t prepared for the neighborhood kid part of socializing a puppy! I really hated to tell them no, but she (the dog) was already kinda freaking out. She’s never snapped before but I didn’t want to take a chance. I felt so bad 🤦♀️.
