Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some advice on where to post to find a roommate for a 2-bedroom condo in the New Haven area.

Ideally, I’d love to find a Yale student or a travel nurse- someone responsible, clean, and with a predictable schedule. The place would be a shared 2-bed condo, so I’m trying to find the right platforms where people like that are actually looking.

So far I’ve thought about Facebook groups and Craigslist, but I’m wondering:

- Are there specific Yale housing groups or forums that are active?

- Any good sites or apps that travel nurses use to find housing?

- Any Reddit communities you’d recommend posting in?

I’m a medical resident and will be leaving earlier than anticipated after matching at another hospital. I’m looking for someone to take over my lease starting June 9th. If you or anyone you know is looking for a place, I’d really appreciate you passing this along!

I live at 900 Chapel Tower, right in the heart of downtown New Haven. The location is one of the best parts—about a 5-minute walk to popular bars and restaurants and roughly 10 minutes from Yale’s main campus.

Apartment details:

• 1-bedroom (not a studio)

• Very quiet (only one neighbor, also a medical resident, rarely home)

Yale MRI Food Craving Study
Earn up to $825 for completing all parts of the study.
Are you 18-60 years old?
Do you have a body mass index (BMI) greater than 25?

The purpose of this study is to test whether people can learn to change their craving and their brain response to food cues using neurofeedback.

Study involves a screening call, three MRI neuroimaging scans (each 1 week apart), and a one-month follow-up visit.
The first step is to complete a 20-minute online survey to see if you are eligible for the study. Please reach out for the survey. If you are eligible based on the survey, we will reach out to you about next steps.

Looking for someone to take over my lease for the month of July 2026.

The apartment is located at 441 Chapel St, right next to the wooster square neighbourhood and all the good pizza (and a weekend farmer's market literally 50 steps away)

Private bedroom and attached bathroom on the lower floor of a two floor apartment. Upper floor is occupied by three other people with their own bedroom + bathrooms.

Basic furnishings provided (bed, mattress, table, pretty big closet) and I'm willing to sell my furniture for cheap if you see anything you like.
