When did NHPR’s Julia Furukawa become Julia Barnett?

It was always annoying but familiar to hear her seemingly forget her name saying “Julia Fura….kawa“

How to get back from Boston Logan after 10:30pm?

To start, I am typically a bus rider out of Londonderry to get in and out of BostonLogan, but I am taking a late flight in from Phoenix.

I just worry with the time my flight lands we would miss the last bus out of Boston, and then we are stuck there.

Is there a specific car service people recommend? Is there a different bus that runs later? What’s the best way to go about this?

TIA

Going to New Hampshire from April 16 for a few days. Any good place near Mt Washington to day hike?

[Edit : Your answers have convinced me that most trails should not be hiked. That it's not good for the ecosystem and that I might put myself in dangerous conditions. Thank you.]

Hello everyone,

I am from Québec, and I will be travelling to Lincoln, NH, for my uncle's funeral on Thursday, April 16. I have family activities planned until Sunday, and I am considering extending my stay by two days and relocating to the Mount Washington Resort & Spa.

I have dined there in the past, but never rented a room. My goal is to reminisce about good memories and use the spa, but I mostly want to hike. Not anything demanding as going up the Mount Washington itself, but 3-6 hours hike at a leisurely pace.

My main concern is the trail conditions: Will ALL the trails be slushy, or will they be like a stream? If not, do you recommend one in particular? Around what altitude should I expect snow?

My cousin told me that it will be "mud season" and many hotels and restaurants will be closed for deep cleaning.

Your thoughts? I know that snowstorms or rain can change the conditions, so I do not expect an exact prediction.

Is it worth the money at this time of the year? The rooms are discounted by 20%.

Question about Working at a Hospital

I received a job offer from a hospital in NH. I know/assume that they will do a pre-employment drug test and I use marijuana regularly. Will they automatically rescind my offer or how should I go about this? (Pls delete if not allowed)

BankNH Pavillion question

Hi all! Second question about this venue! Does anyone know where the band/musicians usually exit? I’m seeing Dermot Kennedy in September and since he doesn’t do meet and greets I’ve heard of people hanging around after to get pictures/say hi.

Thank you!!
