It lasted a long, long time but has finally passed. I'm looking to replace but everything I'm finding is advertising ebooks, and recorders, and video player. I'm just looking for easy. A touchscreen and blu-ray for my headphones and so it can play in my car. I don't even need a ton of capacity, I only have 25 gb of music!
I recently got into the hobby back in November of 2025. I've since collected four different Digital Audio Players.
I sadly don't own any IEMs yet, though I am looking for a good pair. If anyone has any recommendations that'd be awesome! Also, I will list them down below in terms of models that I own.

Whenever I add any song from massive attack's Mezzanine to a playlist on my clip sport it turns into angel. I dont want to listen to angel anymore. I want to listen to the rest of the album. The playlists are fine when made via musicbee on my computer. The full album works fine on the player. This is the only album to ever do this
What even possibly happens inside the device to tell it to do that

So my new mp3 came and i can't add musics by my phone even with many conectors i just can't, i tried everything , i tought that only by having an mp3 and make an copy in the sd card file it would work.And to make it worse my pc is broken and i can't add musics by my cellphone(Redmi Note 13) can someone help me? 😭😭
Ive been trying to find any kind of mp3 player thats under 100 CAD and still can hold an okay amount of songs. I dont mind replacing an sd card or anything like that but I haven't been able to find an mp3 player that allows me to that i can afford. Ive been mainly using yt music but im getting sick of the ads. Id rather something with Bluetooth but have some wired headphones I can use. Literally any brand or kind of mp3 player is good. Thanks in advance if anyone has any suggestions.

I'm looking for something around 60usd at most with a screen but no touchscreen players I want physical buttons doesn't have to have amazing sound quality and preferably doesn't need proprietary software
So, lemme get to the point straight - all my offline music files have album art embedded in it's metadata, but they won't show in this.
I use the AutomaTag app on Android to do the metadata thingy, and I have been doing it for as long as I could even remember.

had a terrible experience getting a refurbished ipod classic and needed to return it. the hard drive was cooked. seller played me (pun intended) and i dont want to get burned again
i am looking for an mp3 player that can store a large quantity of music. i would prefer a budget friendly option but i know mp3 players with large storage capacities can run on the higher end
what are my options? what have you had success with? it'd be nice to get something compatible with bluetooth but i know that will also drive up the price tag

It also has a video recorder but the sound is always delayed, and it has like 1fps. I can also look at the photos and watch the videos back with sound on it. It's the bush 8gb mp3 player in Pink.

I bought a Ruizu x68 (or x80, I'm seeing conflicting information on what it actually is), and it claims to support .flac, however, it clearly does not.
Am I supposed to enable .flac support somewhere in settings or is this just a common business practice with cheaper mp3 players?
When I use my Mp3, I used it for convenience. If I want something fancy like a touch screen then I would use my phone for that. If I want a hifi lossless something something music then I'll just listen that to my stereo, speaker, or my sennheiser headphones.
But why on earth does it seem like the more we advance to society, the more they try to make things complicated. Why on earth would you want a touch screen mp3 when you have a phone. For once, I just want to buy an Mp3 with physical buttons to press.
My last mp3 that have up after 6 years has 11 buttons.
3 buttons on the side - volume control, power button
3 buttons in the fron under the screen - 1st button dont know, 2nd button brings you to the current song, 3rd button are options like repeat, add playlist
The rest are - up,down,left,right, and pause and play
Press left skip the music
Press and hold left fast forward the music
Press right- plays the music before
Press and holding right replays
What on earth. This mp3 took 6 uears before all the buttons just gave up. The least expensive. I cant find this model anymore it's a BENJIE something.
The rest are either useless touch screen or using a wheel.
Can't they just make things more simple. I dont need an mp3 that looks fancy but doesnt do its job
