Not sure of the frame but I’ve got some 8 inch stretch tabs, juggernaut, torque converter, 40 tooth rear sprocket, exhaust and more coming in.
Trying to figure out a bigger wheel situation any suggestions?
Picked it up today and have no clue what it’s called. Not rust that’s primer by the way
Hey guys I’m trying to restore my old mini bike, it has a Clinton 404-0104 and I’m looking for a good torque converter for it. It has a 3/4 shaft and is 3.5 horsepower. The old clutch is seized up and fried, then doing some research it seems torque converters are the way to go. Thanks for the help!
who needs a lift when you have a 4x4 and ratchet straps 🤣😁
After doing some research and a lot of looking we finally found a Mini Bike. Did an oil change on it already. It didn’t have a Billet Flywheel but I already ordered one. I also ordered a filter for the Carb. I plan on getting a Billet Rod soon as well. The Foot Pegs are pretty worn from scraping on the floor, so I plan on getting some new ones welded on. Here is what I know about it so far.
BAM Frame & T Bar
Predator 212cc Hemi
Gov Delete & Oil Sensor Delete
FGAW Trumpet Exhaust
PWK Carburetor 28mm
Tri Star Wheels (Front 5in & Back 6in)
Duro Rain Slick Back Tire
What other maintenance should be done to it? What else can I do I need to make sure everything is safe and right?
recently finished my minibike and the chain makes this HORRIBLE sound but only on decel. i was careful to make sure everything was aligned, it sounds fine at any speed so long as im actively on the throttle, if i am coasting or actively braking it makes a sound akin to a broken blender. second pic is a better pic of the chain run. anyone else with a similar build run into the same issue? fixes? lmk. brakes also are for shit, brand new everything and it squeals like a stuck pig while not having much braking force. maybe the bike is just too heavy for stock mechanical brakes now?
Coleman at200-b Getting bad wobble the second I go over 30 mph the front left tire has much less tread then the right (came like that when i bought it)would that cause wobble? I've replaced both front bearings with high quality and still have the same issue im new to atv's any help in the right direction would be appreciated
going to be taking a stretched mm80, and was thinking about swapping on a Zongshen 212CC, basically a Chinese copy of a Daytona 190 pit bike motor. Im going to be adding front breaks and this motor has a manual clutch, i was wondering how i can do a foot break for the rear, and add shifter linkage. I have never seen anyone use a frame like this for this type of motor other then mycustomgokart, but they did not have a footbreak or functional shifter linkage. Thanks.
I’ve had this mini bike I got when I was a kid. 15 years later I’m pulling it out of the shed trying to get it rebuilt. My biggest problem back in the day was trying to find wheels and tires for it. Does anyone know anything about this bad boy?
Fits good and it's 4 ply for only 38$
i ordered another sprocket because i am wanting a 40t but i ordered the wrong size and not sure where to find what im looking for pls help.
I'm taking the stock hisun engine out and putting a ghost 212 in. I'm having difficulties figuring out how the wiring goes (the stock headlight and the Killswitch on the handlebars) it looks like I can just plug and play into the coil on the new ghost engine? can I just remove the headlight entirely and forget about it? the headlight is garbage anyways. same goes for the handlebar Killswitch. can I just by pass that?
Hey I have had a Coleman ct200u for about 4 months. The engine is a stock hisun 196 that’s ten years old and still has governor in it. Today I did some top speed runs, and after going till the governor engaged probably 8 times I was noticing the idle was way less rpm. Before this the bike shook so bad it could not sit on the kick stand while the engine ran or it would wobble off the kick stand, and now the shaking is gone. I checked the bike about 4 hours later and the slower idle speed and no shaking now seems permanent. Is this normal or is there something wrong with the engine?
Thank you
I have a 212 governor removed and a 28mm pwk carb what jet sizes should I use? I don’t know what sizes it came with it on stock.
Been doing some testing on a few different engins lately and after messing with a few diffrent sizes, the #120 jet seems to be the absolute sweet spot for throttle response and top-end.
It cured the low-end bog I was getting with the stock setup. Are you finding the #120 is the baseline, or does altitude change the game that much for you guys?
