Wanna laugh your ASS off on Saturday night?
Hello R slash Lehigh Valley, Jiah Peck here from Pigeon City Sketch Comedy, which a rando once called “kinda funny, actually”. If you’re looking for something exciting to see this weekend and enjoy locally & ethically-sourced comedy shows, then you’re gonna want to IMMEDIATELY grab tickets to “Amusing Ourselves to Death: Sketch Comedy for the End Times”, happening THIS SATURDAY 4/18 at 7:30 PM in the Steelstacks Visitor’s Center (facing the stacks, it’s the building to the left where you can buy t-shirts and has the nice bathrooms).
Created by super talents Christy Devlin (Synced Up), Justin Passino (Cobra) and myself (Popcorn Pushers), it’s a live comedy show featuring 12 goddamn hilarious sketches performed by comedy legends like Jamie Bleasdale, Jennifer Carlson, Terrence Haynes, Erica Sylvester and Myke Wambaugh. We’ve been rehearsing for weeks, there’s costumes, props and spreadsheets were involved. “Alright”, you’re saying, “I’m sold — “ BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE! The ivory tickler himself Matt Asti will be performing LIVE PIANO MUSIC during the entire show! Wow! All this and the tickets are only $16! And it starts at the hella reasonable time of 7:30PM so you’ll have time to buy us all drinks at the bar afterwards? You’re probably shouting at your device, “Can I watch this show twice?!” No. Sorry. That’s plumb impossible.
TICKETS are available here (grab ‘em soon, they’re selling like hotcakes!): https://www.artsquest.org/event/amusing-ourselves-to-death-sketch-comedy-for-the-end-times/
