Who will the last concert you see before Kilby next week?
Weather permitting I'll be seeing the Lemon Twigs this weekend!
This may be sort of a silly question, but what do people tend to wear to this festival? I know Utah leans a little more conservative and I don’t want to look like a heathen, lol. I was planning on buying some cute outfits but I don’t want to go overboard.
Hey everybody! This is my first Kilby and first trip to Utah (technically I was there on a family trip when I was one). I had planned to take the train to the festival but Google Maps shows it as a 1-hour 11-minute train ride, while driving my car would only be 15 minutes (I'm staying on the west side of the Sugar House area).
Are the trains really that slow?
Where is everyone staying?
Downtown? airbnb? rose park? where the out of towners at?
Bus and TRAX are included with our weekend tickets, right? Does anyone know how this works or when we get whatever it is we need to ride the local transit?
Also, is there a cheat for getting home/to the after parties once the headliner lets out to avoid a rush or packed train?
Hello!
Friday and Sunday are packed for me! But Saturday I find myself with a lot of free time to discover new artists!
Give me your recommendations with a song for your fav Saturday artist!! :)
ATTENTION: SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING TO ATTEND KILBY
For the love of Swig and all that is Holy: when the artists take the stage PLEASE shut the fuck up and show some respect to your fellow concert goers!
If you MUST start yapping on and on and on about how much your ex loved The Moss or how you think your coworker has a drinking problem - PLEASE take your conversations to the very back of the crowds and out of earshot from those who actually came for the music and not just to socialize.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!!!
Got matching kilby 2025 tattoos with my bestie. I'm so excited for this year see y'all there.
Hi! I am so excited for my first Kilby Block Party and all the artists, but I was hoping to get some advice from folks who have been there before-
What would you say you should bring into the festival? Should we bring picnic blankets and snacks or keep it very light?
Are there any tips for not spending an arm and a leg on alcohol and food? Could you leave a car in the lot all three days and keep drinks/snacks/ change of clothes in the car? Do they make you move your car each night?
Thank you for any insight!
What are you most excited by? Pals and I are trying to choose between Sports & Pattie Gonia Queer party/drag show on sat! Haven't been to that venue at previous kilbs.
With us being only two weeks out I feel there are many who will begin planning more in depth. Let’s share schedules and help fill in any gaps that people may have!
Hi y’all! This is my first Kilby and my best friend and I will be coming from Texas to attend. The Saturday of the festival is my birthday and I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations on places to go to celebrate/ any recommendations in general while we’re there. Neither of us have been to SLC before. We probably will get the festival later on Saturday since there weren’t that many sets we were interested in earlier in the day. Any recommendations are appreciated!
looking on the kilby app at how many people have certain artists scheduled, its hard not to see some instances where they wrongly estimated which artist deserved the bigger stage at a certain timeslot. for example, this is lorelei vs hannah cohen feels like the most egregious to me. this is lorelei has over 1000 people scheduled and yet he's at the mountain stage while hannah cohen is on kilby stage with only 390! obviously these numbers don't necessarily point to who will have the larger crowd on the day but it's still worth noting. i wonder if after seeing what people are gravitating towards they could possibly change a few things a la geese vs tv on the radio last year? what do you guys think!
Hello Kilbities! This will be my second time coming to Kilby and due to last year's crazy extra day added I wasn't able to fit in a chance to rent a car and check out more of that unique Utah scenery. I plan of getting the car early Thursday morning and using the day to go on a satisfying hike. any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Come on
How hard are they ab this rule? Tryna start a real mean pit for alex g
Hi everyone! My dad bought me a Kilby pass for Christmas this year and I’m super excited as this will be my first time attending! I received my ticket in the mail at my address, but unfortunately my dad put it in his name by accident. It doesn’t seem like we can transfer the pass to me online in his 24tix account. Does anyone have experience transferring tickets to a different name? I’m going to email them or try to chat with someone over the phone tomorrow as well. Any advice is appreciated!
How strict is the bag policy really?
I really don’t want to buy another bag if I don’t have to. I don’t have a clear one and my fanny pack is so small, and I wanna make sure to bring wipes, hand sanitizer, pepto, etc etc. if I have a mini backpack with only two pockets, is that okay? Has anyone gotten in with a mini backpack? TYIA besties
