Why does she always have to dress like that?

Following the dress code really cannot be that difficult right?

Lara Looks 100x Better When She’s Wearing A Normal Amount Of Makeup And Not Being Sexual

She looks very pretty to me in these pictures, and I noticed that the makeup in these pictures is not that intense when you compare her makeup now (not a fan of the lipliner in the 3rd picture but her makeup still looks good) Her makeup that she’s wears today is to much and it’s taking away from her face. I also like the outfit that she’s wearing in the last picture because shes not revealing her body and she looks good. I wish Katseye was less hyper sexual.

What is thi choreography??

The look like an awkward mess... their lollapalooza mia performance was way better, they didn't have any choreography (expect intro and outro) and just hyped the crowd and it worked way better than whatever this is. They could have made a good choreography for mia, but decided to tell the girls to act like strippers and called it a day

There are actually three white/european girls in katseye, so why don’t white people feel represented? And why is Megan’s asian identity accepted while Manon’s black african identity is constantly questioned?

There are actually several Katseye members who have white european ancestry, and I feel like this point is rarely mentioned. This post might not be that important in itself, but I’ve often seen people say that there are no white girls in the group or that europeans, ethnically speaking, were completely excluded. But that’s not really the case.

If we’re talking about origins, Manon and Megan are both mixed with white european ancestry. Daniela is a descendant of european colonizers/immigrants, with maybe a tiny amount of truly latin american genes. So, in reality, there is more white european ancestry in Katseye than some fans claim.

And that’s exactly what made me think about another point: why is Megan automatically considered asian, while Manon is not always recognized as black/african? They actually have a fairly similar type of mixed background: they are both half white, with the other half connected to another continent. And yet Megan’s identity is rarely questioned, while Manon’s is constantly debated.

People often say there are “4 asians” in the group, including Megan, even though she is mixed. And it’s not like her mixed background is invisible: she is intercontinentally mixed, so she clearly looks like a mixed person, just like Manon. (Definition : "intercontinental mixed ancestry” someone whose mixed background comes from two people from different continents, making the mixed heritage more noticeable). But despite that, people don’t deny Megan’s Asian identity. On the other hand, Manon is regularly accused of using her ghanaian culture to appear “more black” (the same thing happens with Daniela too, although in her case it’s a bit more understandable). I feel like it’s mostly Americans who do this, but still, it’s weird. Why do they do that?

What I don’t understand is the double standard. Megan often highlights her Chinese culture, including in very sexualized concepts, like when she wears shortened traditional Chinese dresses or licks a Chinese sword in Picky up. Yet nobody really seems to accuse her of using or staging her culture.

That’s where I really stop understanding some eyekons. They present themselves as anti-racist, but in the way they treat the members of the group, they sometimes reproduce very racist, colorist, or hypocritical behaviors.

Do you guys actually think Manon is that pretty?

I mean, everyone says that she got the opportunity because of looks etc. It is only my own opinion, but what looks...? She is definetely attractive, but there is a lot of attractive people, so why?

Wrongful representation

The first girl in the picture is ezrela, a former dream academy trainee who is indian just like lara. She is wearing a traditional saree the right way.
The next picture is from the internet, a normal respresentation of how people should wear sarees.
The last two pictures are lara, who is wrongfully representing traditional sarees by wearing lingerie under the clothes and also purposefully wearing her skirt lower to show her "sexy side".

Im so done with these fake ass members yall 😭

Lara doesn't represent Indians.

Lara doesn’t represent India, and she should stop constantly pushing the narrative that she deeply values and embodies Indian culture in every aspect of her life. The only ‘representation’ she’s really shown is wearing a bindi, a maang tikka, and an Om pendant — which honestly feels more aesthetic than meaningful. There were so many genuine ways to show respect and connection to the culture, but she chose to do the bare minimum.

She talks about representing India, yet almost everything about her public persona feels heavily Americanized — from the way she speaks and behaves to her fashion choices. I don’t see genuine Indian representation there. And honestly, I’m tired of people using random ‘ethnic-inspired’ or overly revealing outfits and labeling them as Indian culture. Indian fashion is incredibly diverse, elegant, and meaningful, and reducing it to aesthetic accessories or exaggerated styling doesn’t truly represent us.

Just wearing a bindi or maang tikka doesn’t automatically make someone a representative of Indian culture. Her overall image, behavior, and fashion feel completely Westernized, which is fine — but then stop branding every unconventional or revealing outfit as ‘representing India.’ Indian culture is far deeper than surface-level styling choices.

World Tour and it's just NA/EU

It's so crazy to me that this is considered a world tour when there's 5 other continents not included in this. They could just call it a tour and before anyone says anything about there not being enough of an audience in other countries that is an absolute lie. Maybe they'll do jap/kor too but still when it's time to appropriate and exploite the cultures of their "global" members they'll be the first to do so...

People are delusional if they think HXG would ever let this group flop with or without Manon, her fans are gonna be in for a rude awakening when the group goes on European tours and everything while she on sidelines taking insta photos and following kid laroi and his gf around like a lap dog .

Katseye is alot bigger than people even realize and people also underestimate just how much no matter what people sympathy cards eventually decline and go away. Once HYBE cuts the final cord and that wave of hate comes and goes manon will become a foot note it’s just the facts I’ve seen it time and time again.

The Sexualization In This Video Of Lara Is Fucking Disgusting

I understand that she’s 20 years old and that she was okay with wearing this outfit but to me it’s very gross. It’s only going to get worse when they get older 😬

Lara's live?

This video popped on my fyp, as it's written she says people twisted her words? (How exactly I'm not sure, she said what she said and it has a clear one meaning)

I don't necessarily think she said that with ill intent, maybe she really loves R&B and enjoys it, but she is simply an airhead, does not think before speaking and is not educated enough.

How may times now she comes out with a statement after she opens her mouth and gets called out? Enough 😭

It gets to a point, being a public figure you can't keep going like this. Can't they get her some media training? a script, anything..

This applies so well to Katseye, especially Lara and Yoonchae, who have had their bodies profited on since they were minors. However because its seen as a "choice", their fans will continue to defend the objectification of young girls and women by large companies.
