Neglect | Short Film

Hey everyone,

I recently made a short film and I’d really appreciate your feedback.

🎬 What I’m looking for:

- Story clarity

- Editing & pacing

- Overall impact

- feedback

This is my first/one of my early projects, so any suggestions or criticism will really help me improve.

Feedback wanted on my independent dark fantasy trailer — All Wars Are Inevitable - The Beginning

Hi everyone,

I’m working on an independent dark fantasy film called All Wars Are Inevitable: The Beginning.

I’m creating it mostly by myself: directing, editing, composing the music, building the world, and developing the visual identity with AI tools as part of the workflow.

This is not just a random trailer test — I’m trying to build a full cinematic saga with consistent characters, lore, factions, and an original score.

I’d really appreciate honest feedback on the trailer: pacing, atmosphere, clarity, and whether it feels like something you would keep watching.

Thanks.

Hey everyone, I recently shot this psychological thriller locally with my crew at Silent Frame Production. We tried to build as much tension and paranoia as possible with limited gear. Let me know what you think of the vibe and the editing!

I want to make cinematic solo short films/reels where only I appear on screen.
I currently shoot on my phone and mostly have access to indoor/outdoor locations nearby.

I’m into psychological, dark, emotional, or suspense-style storytelling (not comedy/skits).

What are some strong solo short film concepts a beginner director can realistically shoot alone without actors?

Would also appreciate advice on:

  • how to make one-person stories feel cinematic
  • keeping viewers engaged with only one character
  • beginner mistakes to avoid
