I made another teardown art, hope you like it :D
Trying to get rid of my iPhone 13 mini I switched to a Google pixel 9 pro xl so I no longer need this tried to sell locally but nobody seems interested $180 battery health is at 87%
Hi everyone. I have a question: Does the percentage ever go down? I replaced my battery maybe like 3-4 months ago but I didn’t replace my battery with Apple so will the details from this battery continue to be inaccurate?
Hi! I have an IPhone 12 mini (blue, the love of my life (jk)) but recently it keeps showing signs of malfunction. It overheats easily and gets really slow, the battery is at 68%, it changes the volumes randomly while I’m using it and the storage is nearly full (124/128 Gb). Also, i stopped updating because i was scared it would accelerate the death of my phone, so it’s stuck at iOS 17.5.1 (also because i have no storage to actually install the upgrade).
I think I could be ready to upgrade the model, but i really like the dimensions of the mini, so I’m a bit stuck. Also I don’t really feel like I’m in the position to spend too much just because, and i want to have the best quality/price options to choose from.
Can you help me with some advice?
Thanks ^-^
Help! I love my 12 mini so much and want to keep it for as long as possible, but unfortunately my battery health is at 74% and I'm starting to notice decreased functionality and I think I will have to upgrade in the next year. What model iphone is the most similar to the 12 mini if I have to upgrade? I love the small size so much!
So not to long ago I was giving a 12 mini with 75% battery health and using it as a secondary iPhone was good but my main iPhone recently stoped lasting for more than three hours. This isn’t on iOS 26
Here it is… Kept in a 2020 state. The only ‘fault’ is the protrusion of a semi-circle of black area on the left side, emanating from the bezel. Touch still works in this area. I don’t know what caused it. But I actually quite like it anyway. It’s soothing, in a way producing neuroticism of a pleasant sort, haha. It makes it feel more unique and I like where this bug on the display happens to be located anyway.
Endel can run endlessly on it for free, one positive of having left it to be stuck on iOS 14.2 (so it and most apps have to run on their very old versions).
And it still has 100% battery health/battery capacity. I almost only ever use it when I do bring it out with it plugged into power to keep the battery as unused as possible.
Hi everyone,
I’ve recently updated my iPhone to iOS 26.4.2. I now need to perform an iOS application security assessment (pentesting), and for that, I require a jailbroken device.
I have a few questions:
Important note:
I need iOS 16.6 or above because TestFlight is not supporting lower versions in my case. So ideally, I’m looking for a jailbreak-compatible version ≥16.6.
Additionally, if anyone can guide:
Thanks in advance for your help!
Took my phone out of the case a few days ago to wipe it down and discovered this. I have no idea how long it’s been like this since I haven’t taken it out of the case in a few months. I reached out to my carrier (yup, I was still paying for insurance on it) and they sent me a refurbed iPhone 13 in 2 days for a $75 deductible. So far I’m enjoying the 13. I quickly adjusted the size and the battery has lasted a full day. I had been planning on replacing the battery on the mini a second time, but I think this scenario worked out better.
It was a good 5 year run!! I bought the 12 Mini new in March of 2021.
hello, i’ve test my 12 mini’s main camera sensor and it won’t focus, is it an hardware issue or software?, still stuck on ios 18 cause ios 26 drains battery pretty quick
This is a genuine question, I am not trying to be rude here. I’ve owned both the 12 and 13 Mini. I used my 12 mini for 2 years before switching to the 13 mini. The 13 Mini is superior in every way, and the difference in performance and other features is very noticeable.
* Better battery life
* Much brighter display
* Better chip
* Smaller notch
I currently have a iphone 11 pro 256gb and i got a exchange offer for a iPhone 12 mini 256gb. Battery health is 73%. Should i get it?
I bought my 12 mini 64gb brand new and have had apple care on it since. Ive had the battery replaced twice and my screen replaced twice as well. I think at one point they just gave me a brand new phone because there was so many things that had failed at once (something with the face id, speaker, and the screen were all broken) But now I have a problem with my storage space. I don’t have any!! I really want to upgrade to a 13 mini with more storage, but id hate to go without apple care. Am I really going to be missing much without it? Should I just make the jump?
The iphone 12 mini has
256gb storage
Display is replaced to and lcd one
The iphone 11 has
128gb storage
And display original(even tho its also lcd)
(I havent founded an iphone 11 yet)
Which one?
(I do be playing alot of mobile games like call of duty, CarX Street and much more. But i also do have a phone cooler)
So it’s been like 2 months since I bought my iPhone 11 got it for dirt cheap. Although I’ll keep using it but was wondering is it worth upgrading to 12 mini? Will the display feel too small and the battery backup being too short?
What should i buy?
The Mini didn’t fail because of the lack of interest in small phones, it failed because it wasn't the cheapest phone at the time. The iPhone SE captured the budget-conscious market by offering the "Apple experience" at the lowest possible entry point. When the iPhone 12 Mini launched at $699, the iPhone SE (2020) was already sitting comfortably at $399($300 cheaper).
By the time the 13 Mini improved the battery life and display, the narrative was already set. The iPhone SE had claimed the "small and affordable" throne.
The 12 and 13 mini being only $100 less than the standard 12 and 13 model caused many consumers to do the "value math" and opt for the bigger screen/battery for a marginal price jump. If the Mini had been $200 cheaper and in place of the iPhone SE it would have been the default "budget flagship," and the sales narrative would be completely different.
The Home Button Transition: A huge segment of people were reluctant in transitioning away from the home button**.** They stayed with the older SE design because they weren't ready for gesture navigation yet which is now no longer an option.
The abysmal sales gave Apple a false signal that people didn't want a small option as much as they had thought, when the opposite is actually true. There is still a massive cult following for small phones, but the Mini was robbed by not being the budget option at the time.
