M5 pro vs S11

Anyone who is looking for the best tablet ever for media, really all you need is the iPad Pro M5 11 or 13 inch. I use both interchangeably and literally both are used a lot as they are my beside tv since I have no tv in my room. I can say fs the S11 is a good tablet but the M5 pro really is that much better. Better speakers, nice buttery smooth with no lag moments, better apps like for example the Crunchyroll app is better on iPad, faster charges, longer battery life, can use Face ID in the dark compared to many retries for finger print id to work( facial recognition doesn’t work at all in the dark with the S11), USB C lossless without any needs for a DAC adapter…

Not saying the S11 is bad but really any of guys looking for the best tablet on market the iPad really is king. Still love my S11 though but it’s just missing some stuff to make it better. So if anyone was curious as to why iPad has 50% of the market there it is and you if are curious I’d say your iPad is the better tablet for media and gaming. Both screens though are very bright and look good.

Best tablet to stream HDR?

Hello, I'm trying to find the best oled tablet that will stream in HDR (Netflix). I'll use it primarily for media.

I'm coming from a Samsung ecosystem so I'm trying to see if it's worth it, I heard Samsung tablets have issues

Spotlight Focus Bug: M4 iPad Pro + Magic Keyboard (iPadOS 26)

I’m trying to determine if my M4 iPad Pro has a hardware issue or if this is a known bug in iPadOS 26. I use Spotlight as my primary way to switch apps, and it’s become increasingly unreliable lately.

My Setup:

Device: 13-inch iPad Pro M4 (2024)

Accessory: Magic Keyboard

Version: iPadOS 26.4

The Issue:

Randomly—and mostly just within the last month—Spotlight stops accepting text input.

  1. I hit Command + Space and the Spotlight search bar appears as expected.

  2. However, I cannot enter any text into the window. It’s as if the keyboard focus is stuck on the app behind the search bar.

  3. The keyboard is still communicating with the OS, because I can successfully close the Spotlight window by hitting Command + Space again or pressing Escape.

It seems like a software focus hand-off issue rather than a hardware disconnect, but it’s happening often enough to become a distraction.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Trying to narrow down if this is a widespread iPadOS 26 bug.

Searching for Charching Port for iPad Pro 5th Gen

Hey there, does anyone know if the charging port of the iPad Pro 12.9" 4th Gen (2020) is compatable with the iPad Pro's 12.9" 5th Gen (2021). I only find charging ports for the former. I have to replace mine since it's broken.

Help needed. Which mouse drains less iPad battery? (Wired vs. USB Dongle vs. Bluetooth)

Hey everyone, I’m currently using an iPad and I’m looking to buy a mouse to improve my workflow. However, I’m really confused about which type to get because I want to maximize my battery life.

I’m looking at three options :--

  1. Wired Mouse: Plugging it directly into the iPad using Type-C to usb otg

  2. Wireless Mouse with a Dongle: Using a 2.4GHz receiver. (I already have a Type-C to USB OTG adapter, so I can connect this easily)

  3. Completely Bluetooth Mouse: Connecting directly without any extra hardware.

My main question is: Which of these three setups will consume the least amount of iPad battery?

I’ve heard that wired mice might pull power directly from the iPad's port, but does Bluetooth drain it faster because the radio is constantly on? Also, does using the OTG adapter with a dongle add extra drain?

If you have experience with any of these setups, I'd love to hear your thoughts on which one is the most power-efficient for long study or work sessions. Also suggest which one should I get. Thanks.
