Question for transporting a Navi

Hi all,

Planning on buying a Navi soon to get my motorcycle license and where I’m at there are good deals about an hour or two out. I wouldn’t mind buying one close to me as I could ask my dad to ride it back but they’re like $500-700 more near me. I have access to a pilot and a sienna, was curious if anyone had brought one home in one. Just eyeballing it, seems like it could work.

No Power to my Honda Navi

Alright, I'm going to try to make this short. My 2023 Navi, which I bought brand new a couple of years ago, has zero power in it. I just changed the battery and spark plug, and none of the fuses are blown. Its got roughly 1500 miles on it, but the thing will not even turn over, and I cannot kickstart it. Yes, the kill switch is in the correct position, yes, the kickstand is up. When the ignition is set to on, none of the headlights or turn signals activate; the thing is just completely dead. I am at a loss for what it could be. I fear it may be a wiring issue, but the last thing I want to do is crack the entire thing open and just wing it, observing the wiring. Any advice or thoughts would be great. When I try to start it, the engine does NOT turn over... at all, just straight nothing. Same with the kickstart.

Trade value of a 2022 Navi

I've got a 2022 Honda Navi and I'm debating trading it in for a 2026.

For anyone who's gone from a 2022 to a newer Navi (2023 - 2026), did you actually notice any differences at all? Performance, comfort, build quality, anything?

From what I can tell they seem almost identical but I wanted real owner feedback before making a move.

Worth upgrading or no?

Time To Settle The Score Once And For All!

I just did my oil change (at 308 miles) and the most controversial argument in here is how much oil does the Navi take? It is shocking how many people get it wrong, so I'm settling the score once and for all! I completely drained (and this includes removing the oil screen cap) the oil by tilting my bike and getting every last drop into a measuring cup (see image).

Instead of posting the result, feel free to guess the amount and I will post the result tomorrow.

Oo yea woo yea first DIY oil change

Replaced the oil after it had been over a year (1550 miles, but the manual recommended also every 6 months) since the break-in service... This whole thing took a lot less time than I thought.

I'm looking at buying a Navi or a 200cc scooter as my first vehicle/motorcycle

The navi seems easy enough to work on for someone with no mechanical experience

Are there any mods that anyone can recommend, which are relatively inexpensive and easy to implement, that would make the bike accelerate faster and reach 60mph? I mainly care about the acceleration and reliability of the parts used not speed. It's just a plus

As for a scooter, most have what I would want without modifications but I really do love the Navi looks and the fact is not manual is the best part otherwise I'd love to get a grom

My purpose for the navi/scooter

  1. Save on gas

  2. Save in insurance

  3. Commute to work/around town/state on roads

  4. Maybe Uber or DoorDash

  5. Groceries(im one guy)

Lastly is it possible to make the navi have disc brakes? If so how expensive is that?

Honda navi (idk if swing arm) issue (repost)

Hi, my navi’s actually just over a month old and i recently noticed a slight slipping feeling in the rear when i’m riding. I thought it was just a flat tire issue or bad stock tire grip since stock navi tires notoriously have bad grips but i tried to check flexing the rear wheel horizontally and saw this. I don’t know if it’s fairly visible for you guys in the video but when i force the tire sideways, it actually flexes the whole rear slightly and you can see it bend the rear shock slightly as well. I don’t know if this is normal or bad but please let me know your thoughts about it.

New starter/ no change/ new probs

Tried starting and the new starter just made the whir sound still. So I kickstarted it instead and almost immediately it sounded like a bag of cans so I shut it down. Opened side cover to this. Pulled out and put cover back on. Now kickstarting it makes a crap ton of rattle can noise and the flywheel grabs the kickstart lever inside and whips it around like a ghost is kickstarting it. I’m at a loss as to what to do now! I do know I need a new starter pinion now though.

Questions for Heavier/taller riders

Have you done any mods or upgrades to make the ride more comfortable, have better acceleration, or make the Navi safer for your size?

I'm 6'7 270ish

I will be quite a bit larger than the average Navi owner, but I've read some great posts and comments from larger riders in this sub, so I know the bike I capable of handling my daily tasks.

I've seen a ton a videos detailing all of the common tire, seat, and air intake upgrades, but I'd like to see how these are being implemented for someone my size

I'd like to know if there are any "simple"/at home adjustments I can make to better suit me.
