Chinese-style sausage is one of the hidden gems of the culinary world. I love keeping it in my pantry, it has a subtle sweetness and a satisfyingly chewy texture.
Combined with Aussie prawns and noodles, this dish turned into restaurant-quality noodles.
Definitely worth a try!
I need help finding the best orange sauce I can order online or possibly in store.
Thick, good for dipping or glazing, sweet, not too hot and not too vinegar-y.
If it helps, I like kikkoman orange sauce and think panda expressed orange sauce(in store) is real crappy. I love the restaurant bright neon orange sauce that comes with crab Rangoon but just can’t find it… help!
Prosciutto, goat cheese, arugula, roasted red pepper, pesto
“Bulgogi” means “fire meat” in Korean and is one of Korea’s most loved beef dishes, usually enjoyed on special days with family.
With thinly sliced beef and instant noodles, I decided to create my own Bulgogi noodles.
It turned out amazing, so glad I made it!
I'm trying to improve my cooking, plating, and food photography skills too. Tips welcome!

base recipe by Hailee Catalano (cafehailee). after boiling, the yolks are mixed with salt&pep, kewpie mayo, lemon zest+juice, dijon mustard, smoked paprika, garlic fried in EVOO, & Calabrian chilis. i used some of her recommended garnishes: chives, fried garlic slices, & more smoked paprika.
my modifications: i stained the eggs with pickled beets, & added some extra garnishes: pickled red onion, lemon zest :0)
these were flavor bombs that i believe turned out quite pretty~
