Psychiatrist recommendations?
Can anyone recommend a psychiatrist who treats teenagers?
What about one for adults?
National Park Service sued for authorizing mining at Mojave National Preserve

1.5 miles to the peak. Highly recommended trail, beautiful and a great workout. Just make to sure to wear sturdy hiking boots or the rocks will be rough to traverse. The only bummer was trash’s people had left along the trail and even at the peak, I plan on going back soon to pack some of that trash out.

Solar/battery gate?
If you have a solar/battery powered gate, think about protecting the electronics/batteries from the desert heat. A few days ago when ambient temps were 77.4 degrees I took the unprotected picture this was after a second set of replacement AGM internal batteries over 5 years with the enclosure reading 122 degrees. Over the last 2 days out of carefully assembled plywood offcuts from other projects I built a shade box that's offset from the box by at least an inch all the way around. Today registered the exterior of the new shade box at 98 degrees on a day where ambient temperatures at the moment were 85.5, and the black plastic weather proof gate box was down to 90 degrees. I got a 32 degree decrease on the box itself on a day where ambient temps were 8 degrees warmer.
This whole deal was because the AGM battery in my car survived 7 years, but these AGM batteries in this gate box only lasted 2.5 years, twice. I obviously don't have longevity results yet, but for basically the price of "free" I hope to get better durability out of these batteries that we basically don't ever power cycle, so they were obviously heat cycling. If you have an option to get your box out of the sun consider the effort.

Frontier Service in Victorville
Got Frontier fiber back in Feb. Was good for a few weeks. Felt worth the money. Now, since March into now mid-April... Every. Damn. Weekend. At peek hours, I can barely get 10mbps. I work weekends. 10 hour shifts. I just wanna complete home. Play a couple of hours of games and watch a show before bed. I'm paying 100$ a month for something I can't use. Are there any good service providers out here? Spectrum was trash. Now, Frontier is doing the same thing.
Update: at 11:04, end of peek hours, speeds have increased dramatically. From 4-10 mbps to over 1300. Just like every night from Thursday-Sunday.

Where can a person buy rabbit meat?
such a random question, I know. We are thinking of raising some meat rabbits but want to try rabbit meat first. Trying to search online, but people we find aren't great about responding. Anyone have ideas?
In N Out on bear valley
bro how has the In-N-Out on Bear Valley in Victorville not caused constant crashes
the drive thru line literally spills into Bear Valley traffic during peak hours and wraps through the parking lot so it’s kinda hard to even park. you’ve got cars backing into the street, merging out of a drive thru lane while Bear Valley traffic is flying by
the whole layout just feels fucked lol
how has this not been redesigned or fixed? or is it even possible to fix without moving it? Am i the only one who thinks this?
Victorville is not real 💀
Human Physio
Hello all. Just recently transferred to VVC to retake some courses that I need and I’m taking physio this summer. Unfortunately due to work I won’t be able to do in person classes. I was looking through the summer registration and saw that Lisa M Harvey is the professor running the Human Physio class. I’ve checked RateMyProfessor and I’m beyond horrified. Any one who took her class. Is she really that bad?? Like I really need to take this class as it’s my last prerequisite to apply for my program at Chaffey. What advice would you give??
Cameras at Hesperia Civic Plaza Park
So I swung by the farmers market on Saturday to give some support. While I was there I noticed cameras attached to some of the light posts aroundthe park.
I was wondering do we know who placed those and who has access to them? I checked the City's/Parks page to see if they posted any notice about the cameras but couldn't find anything.
Does anyone know?
