Something like Extra's Academy Survival Guide where some of the girls are insanely powerful, and fiercely protective of the MC. It made my insides all fuzzy so im chasing that same feeling.. Can be any genre as long as it has romance..

In celebration of Devil’s Nectar: Afterfall releasing today, here’s the uncensored cover as a little bonus.

Blurb:

The world ended when humanity reached for forbidden power.

It’s now called “Devil’s Nectar.”

An energy source with limitless potential. It tore civilization apart. Billions died. All that’s left is a brutal wasteland ruled by raiders and warlords.

Buried under tragedy on the day everything collapsed, Caleb woke years later with a body that refuses to die… and a heart that refuses to feel. He drifts through the ruins convinced he has nothing to live for.

Until she proves him wrong.

Catherine was once the girl he loved—and never stopped thinking about. She’s survived her own hell, but she still fights for something better. When she finds Caleb again, she doesn’t let him keep walking.

She drags him to Sanctuary, one of the last havens of civilization, where people still believe life can be more than fear.

And then there’s Roxy, her partner.

Flirtatious. Reckless. Hedonistic.

A chaos loving enforcer who treats danger like foreplay and temptation like a game. Needless to say, she’s going to give them both a hell of a time.

With Devil’s Nectar resurfacing and war closing in, Caleb faces a choice he never thought he’d have again:

Keep walking alone…

Or embrace the passion, loyalty, and dangerous love growing around him.

The end of the world was only the beginning.

One of the reviewers for book 1 said they pitied my therapist, so that should give you an idea of the directions this series takes. The S&M vibes aren't for everyone, but if they're for you, I think you'll have fun with this series.

Let me give you the blurb from book 1 so I don't accidentally spoil anything:

>A litRPG harem adventure–Will Bender follows Brenin, a well-meaning city guard, as he transforms from a Lawful Good weakling to a Chaotic Evil adventurer with a system-driven motivation to surround himself with as many loyal followers as possible.

>Brenin was Lawful Good when he was murdered, but a chance alliance with a sorceress attempting to escape the underworld gives him a second chance. Their deal: He helps her find a new vessel for her soul if she grants him a hidden class and returns him to the world of the living as an undead.

>That hidden class becomes the key to unlocking a new life of power, decadence, and luxury by granting him the ability Bend targets. If someone obeys his command, Brenin earns Will points. The more Will points he extracts from a target, the more obedient and loyal they become.

>As the number of his followers grows, so do Brenin’s ambition and ruthlessness. Why settle for simple revenge when he could have everything?

>(This story features a truly evil MC and a dark story about greed and submission.)

>Warning: This book contains unconventional relationships, harem elements, and explicit adult scenes.

And here's a link for the full series: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DB3HF3RL?binding=kindle_edition&qid=1777659104&sr=8-1&ref=dbs_dp_rwt_sb_pc_tkin

Bonus question plz help: What are your favorite haremlit covers of all time, and what style catches your eye? I'm finally in a place where I can afford to commission something that isn't AI, and I'm not sure what direction to take.

Click here for the universal Amazon link. (Releases May 15th!)

If you still haven’t read the first book, click here to check it out!

There’s more to life than the pursuit of power.

Solenn Yerna, a Faetouched Elf from the Azure Fields, was a prodigy. Unparalleled in her youth, she was strong enough to rival even some of the adults in her village. So, when she graduated at the top of her magical academy, Solenn felt the only thing left for her to do was pursue greater heights than they’d ever dared to achieve.

In the end, she got everything she wanted: the highest praise in the form of an invite to the Faeknight Tournament, enough wealth to support a small family for generations, and the satisfaction of knowing that she was the closest thing to a Faeknight that most people would ever see.

And yet, something was missing. Her peers had gotten married. Had children. Made lives for themselves beyond the pursuit of power. And they looked so much happier than she felt!

Following a conversation with a group of her peers, Solenn decided that she’d take a break from the pursuit of power and took something of a vacation to the Undying Vale. Only a few days into her journey, and she saw something fascinating: a young party of two being challenged by two members of the royal Kenviir family! As defiant as the young man and his Faetouched partner seemed, they may as well have been puppies barking at Brizigians. There was no way the two would ever defeat the Kenviirs…

…not unless they had help from a prodigy.

Expectations/What’s New
(The expectations are pretty much the same as with the first book, so I'm focusing on what's new here).

Interludes - To get a little meta, there were supposed to be interludes in the last volume, but Serena’s character changed a little too much while writing the book, and the interludes I had written for her stopped being relevant, so I cut them. Solenn’s interludes are tied to her character as well as her core motivations, so they can’t be cut! Yay!

Explicit Scenes & FF Content - There are three sex scenes in this book, and two of them are FF. If you aren’t a fan of FF content, you can skip the sex scenes. I’m confident in the story being told. The sex scenes in this story are a garnish. They enhance the story, but they aren’t the story. I could get really long-winded about this point, but I won’t. If you actually care for my long, nerdy opinion about sex scenes in stories, ask in the comments and get ready for that yap session.

Schedule, Audiobook, and Closing Notes.

Same schedule. Volume 3 drops next month. I’m gonna be going on vacation at the end of the month, but I’m not anticipating that disrupting the release schedule. As for Volume 4, though, it’s still looking like that extra month break is likely. The lore has changed just a bit from the time I made my original outline for the story, and I have to adapt everything I have to continue being coherent.

All quiet on the audiobook front. Still saving $$$, still waiting for pub interest, still uninterested in pursuing virtual voices. The first book sold far better than I’d expected it to (THANK YOU ALL BTW), but it didn’t make thousands or anything. It was my first book under this penname! When Volume 3 comes out, I’m gonna start taking ads out. I can’t financially justify doing that right now, but when I do, I’m hoping it’ll give me the boost I need to start setting things up for the audiobook. Basically, it’ll be a little while before it drops :( On the plus side, I have a few VOs I’m looking at. Highly talented. Green site legends. I think you guys’ll like it.

Finally, I said it earlier but I’m beyond happy with how well the story did, especially considering how little I like it. I probably shouldn’t be saying this since the goal of this post is to sell you on my series, but hey. It took me fifteen chapters to find my voice, then once I did, I had a sudden family emergency pop up! How the hell am I supposed to write smut when I’m stressed about the wellbeing of my family?! At a certain point, it felt like I was just trying to get it over with, then I read through it to try to make it all sound decent enough. The fact that it got good feedback despite this was kind of a shock, but it made me happy. With Volume 2, I wanted to really put my best foot forward. It might’ve come across in that Explicit Scenes & Yuri Content tab, but I am VERY proud of this book. If the last one is a strong six to me, this one is a strong eight. I really can’t wait to hear your feedback on it.

Anyway, that’s all. I hope you like the story! Thanks for reading this little yap session. I swear my writing isn’t this long-winded.

Im just wanted to make this post to express my opinion on something authors may be interested in or not and I feel people on here might feel the same way. It’s fine you don’t agree but I wanted to express it anyway.

A lot of books on this subreddit or in this genre are using AI art for covers and I understand why especially for new authors. I just wanted to put this out there that it subconsciously makes me ignore it or not stand out no matter how lewd the cover may be. I personally can’t dissociate Ai covers from the thought the story might be bland or mass produced and I don’t give them a second thought, it’s something ingrained into me and I think it is for a lot of people i personally give a book a lot more consideration and look it up on good reads when I see it has a non Ai cover, as I subconsciously see it as the author put some investment into it or cares about it, it might not be the case always but I’m less likely to look at a book with a ai cover than I am at a bad cover. It might be a bit harsh but I don’t want to ignore a good author or series because of this and think it should be said, but I want to know what others think or if im being a vocal minority. Thanks.

Hey guys, I finally finished writing it, and hoo boy it's a doozy! It'll be well over 1000 pages, at over 275k words written, this is nearly a trilogy in a singular book, and my longest yet. Part of me wanted to split it, but I realized too late that honestly after making folks wait more than six months, it wouldn't be great, and I also didn't have a great splitting point in terms of a climax for Clan Hart.

Overall, I'm rather happy with the book and feel like there's plenty of great excitement that happens with twists and turns in the story, and I'm thrilled to finally have it done.

Anyway, the wait is nearly over, and Book 9 is almost here!

What if tragedy itself crossed the veil, begging to be rewritten? Eliot wants only to tend his quiet London bookshop, to keep every last shelf, coin, and secret to himself. Yet when a battered old novel opens on its own, a girl steps from its pages: Zayva, a bashful scorpion-centaur with a heart far too large for her own peace.

Soon she is joined by others: a mischievous goblin with laughter like broken bells, a diligent bee-girl who cleans until the world gleams, a steel-eyed were-gator who hides her tenderness behind grit and southern poise, and, because the universe delights in irony, an bratty eldritch maiden in doll-lace and ribbons whose sweetness masks a madness older than memory.

These girls were stolen from the brink of sorrow. No one yet knows the stories they escaped or the endings that still wait for them in the margins. Eliot, sardonic, shy, and far too greedy for his own good, cannot help but hoard what fate has placed in his care: a strange, mismatched family that refuses to let their tales close where they once began.

The last thing Grey expected from the afterlife was an overworked, sarcastic angel. The next-to-last thing he expected was for said angel to lie about his cause of death and brush off his concerns. Luckily, it doesn’t sound like he’ll have to worry about the angel’s whims for long.

Join Grey as he is thrust into the world of Estaris, where catgirls nearly outnumber humans, lionesses hunt for prey, and one lonely fox tries to find somewhere to belong. Armed with a perplexing heritage, a barbarian class, and a fluffy companion, Grey must navigate new facets of his own bloodline while taking on dangerous quests. Yet somehow, he’s finding that the quests might be the easy part, at least compared to navigating his relationships with the women around him.

This is the first step into Grey’s journey. Expect light LitRPG elements, a touch of humor, and romantic entanglements with the occasional bit of spice.

Check it out!

Tomboys are the best.

Derek Pierce has had a thing for tomboy girls for as long as he can remember.

The attitude, the baggy clothes, the chaotic energy. He loves it all.

Theoretically.

He’s never met, let alone dated, a tomboy. And then everything changes when an unexpected windfall allows him to move across the country and begin building a new life for himself. One that is hopefully free of all the annoyances he left behind.

But, he immediately discovers, not free of tomboys. As he begins moving into his new duplex, he learns that he shares it with not one, but two amazing, hardcore, hot women.

Molly is a six foot two gym rat who collects swords and can’t hold down a job. Emma is slim, grumpy, and loves gaming.

Both of them want to date him…

The tools ive used to try and help with this are embre.net and romance.io, but for neither seem to actually help with the info im trying to get.

For example Master Class has a strong focus on the story with ~3 chapters a book that are explicit. But looking up its "spice" level on those tools, and its rated as "High".

But something like "Primal Conjurer" which only has aspice rating on embre is only rated Medium. As someone who has read both series, Primal Conjurer has a significantly higher focus on sex and sex scenes even if Master Class had longer and more explicit scenes.
Now im not saying thats inherantly a bad thing, but if i want to read a series that is focused on the plot and relationships without having sex scenes thrown at me every few chapters, it can be really hard to figure out what fits.

I know people have various preferences themselves, but to me that should only mean they also want this information.
Some people seemed to really enjoy Academy of Legends for example. And if thats the case, all power to them. For me, i got halfway through book 2 and still dont think theres really a plot, just sex scenes, innuendo, and then words that connect them. Which, if thats what someones after, is perfect for them.

Dungeon Diving and Primal Conjurer are both "Medium" on embre, but Dugeon Diving spends a lot less time on sex and sex scenes. But it seems like its difficult to actually see that unless youve read both series, and ive found myself struggling to find the right series to fit my mood.

Coven King, is rated "Super Spicy" and based on book 1 which ive just finished, that tracks. Its mostly funny, silly, and sex scenes and innuendo, and doesnt take itself seriously (which might be why i liked it over Academy of Legends which did try and take itself seriously). But its not something im going to read every day or for hours a day like i would a more serious fantasy series. Wheras something like Master Class, and even Dungeon Delving, where series i would read just like any other fantasy series I normally enjoy, and i binged the hell out of them.

Mystic Knight had the kind of structure i was after, and i appreciated the explicit chapters being clearly defined, but i bounced off it as i didnt click with the MC or a few of the LIs. But again, looking at that book in Embre, the "Spice" level is just "Medium". No different from Dungeon Diving, Primal Conjurer, Return of the High Mage King, Blackwood Milk Farm. All just medium, despite Blackwood Milk farm being a story about arousing and banging monster girls to milk them with most of the story from book 1 just erotica or leading to erotica, and Return of the High Mage King being a story about a guy finding out he has special magic powers and needing to fight a big baddie (decent structure but i lost interest towards the end of book 4 as the story lost me and it was just a bit overly tropey despite enjoying the balance of story/sex more).

Im not sure if anyone else knows any tricks, or other tools to use to be able to try and help filter stuff out and find what im after at the time. If they do, id LOVE to hear about it. Goodreads doesnt seem to be any help with it either, things are just erotica and harem, which is a broad category.

TLDR: Id love if there were some tools or some way for authors to let potential readers know how MANY explicit scenes they are, and how much focus is going to be on sex and how much on a wider plot.

I found it annoying and self-sabotaging how much authors whan to make every girl in the harem equal amongst each other.

They make sure that no LI can be more important for the plot than the others, that no LI can act as even a little bit of a leader for the other girls, that the MC must have exactly the same feelings for all of them because otherwise he is a perverted monster.

This just means that the members of the harem can never be their own individuals they are forced to be part of the same collective. They can never drive the plot or be more for the MC than simple trophies.

2026 is just…not my year.

I’ll try to keep this short.

Here’s what actually got accomplished in April.

And that’s it, unfortunately.

Now, briefly, I’ll discuss WHY April also tanked and 2026 remains unproductive. There were three things.

  • My laptop screen broke pretty unexpectedly and what was supposed to be a relatively quick and simple fix became a THREE. WEEK. process. Basically, this fucked my ability to write up kind of bad. I didn’t get it back until literally yesterday.
  • My home required some contract work on multiple issues and THAT dragged on a lot longer than it should have.
  • I’m not going to talk much about this, but I’ve been dealing with…a medical question that was raised near the beginning of the year. I’m okay right now, but I’m currently determining whether or not I have a medical condition, and if I do…it will change my life considerably for the worse and shorten it. Right now, it’s looking like I don’t have the condition, but we still don’t know, so…yeah. It’s kind of stressful and explains at least some of why I’ve been struggling so much this year.

There’s more going on in the background, but those are the big three things that made April suck shit.

I am…sort of feeling better. But this whole thing has definitely fucked up my brain a bit more than usual, so I’ve decided I’m just pulling back on any kind of real plans beyond the most immediately obvious ones. At least for a little bit. I’m feeling extremely in the red in terms of being behind on things I was supposed to have gotten done by this point, and believe me, I’m starting to feel it financially. Especially since Audible fucked us out of as much as FIFTY PERCENT of our royalties going forward! So I am not having a good time.

Here’s what I’ll say about May.

  • TOMBOY SUPREMACY 2 is going to be worked on and should be finished. Once production resumes next week, chapters should be going up twice a day, Mon - Fri, on Lara’s Patreon.
  • OUR OWN WAY 7. I will be trying to get some chapters written for this one.

That’s what I’ve got for now. I need to clear some stuff off of my psychological table or it’s going to break. Sorry I don’t have better information.

Ugh.

Please
Let me out
It’s all a maze

I've been reading them for two years now and enjoying almost every one. But far too many times I've seen someone complain and then a person replies "if you don't like it, write your own." That got me thinking about what I would want to write, so I'm doing it! And to be honest, I'm just about done. It's been a two-month long process.

Maybe this isn't a very exciting post for the community, but I'm excited and wanted to share it with everyone. I want to thank all of the authors that have given us such great stories, some of them very inspirational. For me, it's been basically everything by Peter North, as well as Michael Dalton's Red Elf Ranch and Mickey Carre's Love the Bombshells. I just hope my book does this genre justice, but I think I'm getting it right! Okay, I'll stop rambling now.
