Severe gyno

I’m 19, 5’2, about 130 lbs. I hate my gyno and really can’t wait for surgery. I’m in the process of getting it, but yk it takes some time. I have to wear a bra if not it’s really uncomfortable. I’ve been trying to hit the gym and trying to fill my pecs but it’s real slow. Anyone got some gym advice?

NEED HELP!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻FOR GYNO SURGERY DECISION!!

**“My surgery is scheduled for June 6, 2026. I’ve already booked and paid, but I still have time to decide whether I should go through with it or just continue living normally.

My main issue is puffy nipples. I can live with it by using basic bandage tape (cut in half) to flatten them, and it works quite well under normal shirts. But sometimes I get tired of always having to prep like that.

My concern is also clothing — I feel limited in what I can wear comfortably without tape. I really like plain jerseys, but they are thin and it’s hard to hide anything underneath them without taping.

So I’m wondering… is it worth going through surgery and dealing with the risks, possible nipple complications, and recovery process just to fix this?”**

I love my chest shape and nipple shape

It just my nipple Puffy!

1 year after surgery. I'm happy and confident.

1 year after surgery. There is a little depression in my right nipple area, but it's fine.

Will surgery make my chest look symmetrical?

I want to get surgery for my gyno, and my only concern is that I’ve seen some results where people end up with chests that look funny or inverted nipples. When I get surgery, will my gyno side actually look like my normal side? Or will it be odd looking but just flat?

Surgery TOMORROW!! YAY

I'm 25, I'll be honest, I've had this since I can remember. My surgery is for tomorrow morning. I'll be 100% up front, I'm "scared" Scared might seem odd coming from a 25 year old but I've never been put under before, That's the biggest thing making me anxious but they way I see it is, Tomorrow a new life begins. Sure, There will be recovery but I'm grade 3, I'm going to notice a difference instantly. Mixed emotions right now. Stomach is already having butterflies. Wish me luck y'all.

Should I do a revision

Hey everyone, I’m considering a revision surgery and wanted to hear from people with experience to see whether my expectations are realistic.

I had gynecomastia surgery about 12 years ago with Dr. Blau. He intentionally didn’t remove the entire gland on both sides to avoid creating a crater deformity/cavity.

I actually didn’t wear a compression garment afterward, but overall the results were still pretty decent after about a year, and I was mostly happy.

However, once all the swelling fully settled (around the 12-month mark), I noticed lumps under both nipples especially on the right side. At the time I assumed it was scar tissue that would eventually go away.

Unfortunately, it never did, and it still bothers me to this day. I’m in pretty good shape, but I still have puffy nipples with firm lumps underneath them.

I’m now thinking about getting a revision done (haven’t explored surgeons yet) and was wondering:

Is it realistic to get a flatter result by removing the remaining gland/scar tissue completely?

Would this usually require full incisions under the nipple again?

Has anyone here had a successful revision for a similar issue?

Would really appreciate hearing about your experiences.

5 Days Post Op

Before & After. Finally walked around the house without a shirt on and I’m not sure if I’ll ever put a shirt on after this 😂

Post Op results 2 weeks

Hey sub! I’ve been lerking here for the past weeks for advice during recovery.

My first week (second pic)

Due to buying the wrong compression (miscommunication with the doc) I developed a hematoma on my left chest so that slowed recovery by a week. This brought me a lot of discomfort. During this time I was bleeding a lot and having to redo my bandages.

Second week (3rd pic)

Swelling went down, draining the chest by hand helped a lot. Now I’m starting lymph draining

Last pic is how it looks now.

I was a obese kid which was when I got them. I’ve worked out and drop all the weight but the gyno stayed so this really was the only way. Can’t wait to go back to training and for the first time in my life I’m excited for summer to show off my chest. Life changing stuff.

Finally heading for surgery but feeling scared, need advice

So for context I'm a 19 Male. I've had gyno since I'm 12 and it's fucked up my confidence ever since. Doctor diagnosed it as borderline grade 2. I had my hormone profiling done and everything was fine except the estradiol being a Lil high, but the doctor said I could go for surgery. I'll probably have the procedure done by or before Sunday.

I am pretty sure that it's a liposuction. Might be the other thing though, I'm not entirely sure. I want to get rid of this curse but at the same time I feel so guilty for having my parents' hard earned money spent on this, considering insurance won't cover this at all. The thing I'm most scared about is the pain. The doctor said I'll be under anaesthesia so it wont hurt, but I think since I have asthma they might go for something else. How much pain is there after the procedure? From what I've heard, it's 4-5 days of discomfort and all of that, but I already have 25-30% body fat with love handles and a little bit of extra stomach, I don't want to be inactive for 1.5 months and gain more weight. That's the scariest part for me. I'm just confused and scared in general, I'd really really appreciate it if people could list out their experiences here in comments

1 year post-op: definitely improved, but still unsure about some puffiness

Before/after pics attached. Overall the surgery helped a lot and I’m glad I did it, especially compared to before. I’ve also put on a bit of weight since surgery, which probably affects the look a little.

That said, I still notice some puffiness around the nipples depending on lighting/temperature/certain tops such as (some) tight fitting shirts & tank tops and I’m not sure if this is:
-normal healing/swelling,
-leftover gland,
-weight gain/body fat,
-or just me overanalyzing it.

Was hoping for more of a “cold nipple” and “hard” look but although it’s flatter it still looks a bit puffy.

Curious what others think, especially people who’ve had surgery themselves. Did anyone else still have a slightly puffy look after recovery?

For extra context I got a Kenalog shot on the right side a couple weeks ago so there’s a couple more weeks until a “final result” but I’m not sure if it’ll change much

Asymmetry after surgery

Hi,

30 years old, nearly 9 weeks out of surgery

https://preview.redd.it/q5exgkcelu0h1.png?width=381&format=png&auto=webp&s=1dea9bf52b5d12640453bd9098b84a04f150f47f

I am concerned because there is still a fullness on the left side (particular the inner chest) that is absent on the right, and it's not really going down. I spoke to the surgeon about it and he says to just give it more time and that it's still molding, but it may require more fat removal at a later date. As you can see from the pic I'm not exactly super lean, so if I lose some weight will things start to even out? Has anyone had an experience like this and it improved?

FOR PEOPLE WHO HAD A CRATER THAT NEEDED A REVISION

How long after your surgery was it apparent that a crater was forming? I know they say 3-6 months before you can tell for sure, but were there earlier signs? Did you get it fixed, and if so who fixed it and how many more surgeries did you need.

Need help with doctor shortlist (and other tips)

I'm in the US. I've not had any consultations and only shortlisted based on reddit. Price estimates are from me scouring through reddit posts as well, they may not be accurate

Dr. Law (13-16k)

Dr. Cobbins (7k with GA)

Dr. Khalifeh (10k+)

Others I'm looking at: Dr. Reddy, Dr. Charlie Chen, Dr. Brathwaite (retired?), Dr. Mele, Dr. Ereso, Dr. Davdand

I'm only looking for GA.I like Dr Law's results but I'm afraid it's out of my price range. Ideally, my budget would be under 8k, but I'm scared. I dont think my case is the simplest. I'm open to any recommendations, surgery techniques, or other tips.

Also, I'm super scared of the surgery. This will be my first surgery (and first doctor's visit in years). I'm doing this in solo and in secret. I'm scared of the pain - during healing and chronic, and complications (scarring, sagging, hematoma..) and loss of sensation.
