Just got a new Camelbak and I'm very hyped for the Gorge! 🔊🎒 What are your "must-haves" for the bag?

I just picked up a new hydration pack and currently finalizing packing plans.

Usually I pack liquid iv/granola bars/protein bars/fruit gummies and enough hothands to survive an ice age (the Gorge wind can be no joke lol), but I want to level up my pack game this year.

What are your non-obvious essentials?

Are we talking:

* Vicks sticks or pashminas?

* Little trinkets/sprouts to hand out?

* Emergency napkins?

* Anything else?

Drop your best advice below so we can all be prepared 🙌

P.S. Here is permitted items list from the Gorge website (I never had any issues coming in with a hydration pack):

“» ONLY small clutches, wristlets, or fanny packs no bigger than 6”x 9” OR clear plastic bags NO BIGGER than 12″x12″x6” will be allowed inside

» Lawn Chairs – no higher than 9 inches off the ground

» Cameras – nonprofessional only, no detachable lenses

» Food – in a clear, 1-gallon Ziploc bag

» Water – an empty water bottle OR up to 1 gallon of water in a factory sealed bottle is permitted”

Should I buy a ticket elsewhere?!

I used seatgeek to buy a ticket for a music festival and it's two weeks away and I haven't received it yet. I'm starting to panic a little bit. There's more tickets available on other sites and I'm starting to think I should get another ticket elsewhere because I feel as though I shouldn't have to wait till the day before to see my ticket. Like it should be available by now or at the very least I should be able to get in contact with the actual seller to see that it's real?!? This is really scary lol.

First solo festival- need advice!

Hello! Griztronics is going to be my first solo festival! I have been to two previous festivals at the Gorge (Beyond & Bass Canyon) but alongside other people. I am a small (5’2), 29 year old afab nonbinary queer human.. so it does make me a little nervous, especially being in GA.

I used to be an avid raver years ago but have been out of the scene for awhile due to medical reasons. With that, I kinda lost touch with my previous rave fam and have been starting from scratch. I just so happened to be one of the lucky ones to score tickets and I know this is a show I cannot miss.

I know our community is so loving and welcoming, but I am mostly nervous about the social aspect and getting my stuff stolen. I can be socially awkward, especially when tired, and since I’ve been out of the scene, I just got extra pre-rave jitters. I used to be very confident putting myself out there but have since become a bit reserved again. I keep telling myself once the bass hits my body, it’ll all be okay haha.

I am still getting everything together for camp and made sure to purchase a Lunchbox hydro pack for in the venue.

I appreciate anything yall have to say <3

IMPORTANT INFO:

  • The Vantage Bridge will be under construction until 2028. Get updated info HERE
  • No Chairs are allowed in the venue. Prepare to rent your chair. As of this post, I wasn't able to find a current link for chair rentals.
  • Get to the venue right when parking opens even if you have to get there and just hang out. You don't want to get stuck in traffic any later than that
  • If you need to make arrangement for parking/shuttle, do it immediately. That way, you will get the most options. Reserving the day-of is very stressful and never guaranteed
  • Drink A TON of water before you get there. Make it a priority to stay hydrated
  • Bring earplugs (for those camping) mosquito spray, a light jacket and a very comfortable pair of walking shoes. It's incredibly hot during the day and surprisingly cold after the sun sets.
  • If you plan on camping, bring corkscrew stakes for your tents and sunshades. Those will give you the best results out there.

Good luck with your plans and please reach out to us if you have any other questions, we're local and love to help!

Possible once-in-a-lifetime proposal at Griztronics Gorge

My girlfriend and i are coming to Griztronics Gorge, and i’m planning to propose to her sometime during Day 1 🥲

Subtronics, GRiZ, and this whole community have genuinely meant a huge amount to both of us for years, so this honestly feels like the perfect place to ask one of the biggest questions of my life.

I’ve quietly reached out to a couple management/team contacts on the off chance there’s any way to make the moment extra special somehow, but absolutely zero expectations. Even if nothing comes of it, i’m just insanely grateful we get to be there.

If anybody has ideas for the perfect moment/song/vibe/location to do it during, i’d honestly love suggestions 💛

Bag Policy and other questions

Looking for some info about bag policy. For example Seven Stars was clear bags only. Haven't been able to find any info for The Gorge yet and we wanna be prepared obviously. Also what about bringing blankets, inflatable couches etc. to chill on. The website does say anything about these things. Just seeing if anyone has seen anything that I haven't. Thanks y'all!

Gorge weather?

Hi friends! So stoked for my first time at the Gorge to be with GRiZTRONICS!!!! And all the amazing sets lined up for the weekend as well, it's going go be such a fantastic time!

I was wondering if anyone has camped at the Gorge in late May before? I want to know what to expect weather wise as I pack up over the next few weeks! I'll be standard tent camping and dancing my butt off all day long!

I saw the temp forecast for George, WA ranging from lows at night around 47°- highs at day around 79°. Was wondering how the canyon effects the feel of the weather, and if there's humidity to take into account?

I did camping for LL in 2025 and BOY was it hot and somehow also freeeezing. How do you think this experience will compare?

Ty! <3
