Hey need help choosing a spoiler

Hey need help choosing a spoiler, there’s the marauder spoiler but I feel conflicted with that I just feel there’s too much going on with the rear compared to a Vic with the the fake tail lights in the middle with the chrome bar it feels squished. I’ve also considered a S197 GT500 Wing. Also considering going with spoiler kings ducktail along with the roof spoiler what do y’all think is best? Thanks!

Front mount intakes on my MGM

Cars dirty don’t mind it it’s pollen season so I can’t be bothered cleaning it and sorry for bad mic quality it’s windy

Front mount intake(looks like 2 cuz of reflection in the chrome but it’s one)

Sounds amazing and it’s super loud from the front

And don’t worry I’m going to retune it for the intake so I don’t lean it out or anything I have a custom tune on it

The whole intake cost me 10 bucks(might cost you guys 50-100 cuz I got the intake for free off of a friends bmw he didn’t need it anymore) if anyone wants to try to do it too I can post a tutorial but tbh it’s not a high quality system at all, all I was worried about while making it was it being air tight, which it is

If anyone is curious about the exhaust it’s a custom exhaust it has cats , resonators, and mufflers, it’s a 2.5 inch x pipe

I love the way it looks and sounds what do you guys think ?

Mixing oil types??

Money is tight and i need an oil change. Ive got a 2002 mercury grand marquis and some spare oil, half is 05-w20, other half is 05-w30. Is it unwise to mix the two?

How to find keypad code without going to dealership

Hello, I have a 2010 grand marquis ls and when I bought it the previous owner did not have the factory code. Is there anywhere they hid it in the car for this year? Been trying to google it but nothing is giving me a direct answer

Same car, same place, a decade apart

I will restore it to its former glory soon

Unbelievable that this is the same car 10 years later

Flexing a perfect alignment

originally the front was wearing inner on the passenger side and outer on the drivers side, completely killed a good set of tires. so i had it aligned the first time and they fixed the steering wheel but not the camber, i was able to get some time on a laser rack for the second one and just fixed it myself.

upped the caster by another degree and the camber by .2, a tad bit more toe. then i pushed tire pressures up to 36 front and 34 rear since ive shifted alot of weight to the back of the car. now all 4 tires are wearing perfectly and i should be able to get another 25k out of this set

Wondering about trim pieces?

These trim pieces look cut but they are all the sameish, is this stock somehow? Also want any insight as to what I should replace first on the car to keep it fresh and sturdy. I want to keep this puppy running smooth for 200 miles plus.

Wanting advice swapping seats in a 2000 Grand Marquis LS

Can the leather bucket seats be swapped out for the Crown Victoria Split Bench seats? I know a lot of parts are interchangeable but not sure about this.

It’s that time of year again 😒

The dreaded blend door actuator, Jerry rigged mine so all I have to do is pull with a coat hanger when I want heat and push it with a flathead when I want a/c. Took me 25 minutes.

Does anyone know if this hose and nipple go together?

I recently got a 2003 MGM, I’ve been following an evap leak. I changed out the gas cap. I put a clamp on the occ valve hose connected to the passenger side valve cover. When I was looking under the hood I found an elbow fitting without a male end. I tried plugging those in but no luck. Can anyone confirm whether those are plugged in to each other? Or plug in at all?

TIA

1999 grand marquis idle cold start

When I cold start her 75% of the time she will go up and down in rpms for about 8 minutes or until I put her in gear, she stops after about 30 seconds of driving. I already replaced the idle control valve I believe it’s called, I am looking at getting into the throttle body next. It might be a vacuum leak but she runs fine once I get her warmed up. Anyone have any experience with this issue and might know what I’m running into.

Can someone help me diagnose this problem?

So I have a 89 grand marquis ls, it has a cold air intake along with it being straight piped. When I start it, the engine starts right up but as seen in the video it dies shortly after. When turned to the on position I can hear the fuel pump engage, so i know that isn’t the problem. I believe it is the “Idle air control”(IAC)” but I am unsure. It does have a tendency to stall out when stopped as well. I really want to get this thing fixed so I can enjoy it this summer!

steering box is leaking

it does just look like its seeping out of the top and it isnt leaking too fast but i was just wondering if i should just replace it as there is also play inside the box itself i believe as i replaced all my steering links but it still has about a 1/2 inch of a dead spot or play on the steering wheel itself
