GPD Win Mini with Kano Cam
I recently found a video on YouTube where guys are using this little Kano Cam with a Steam Deck, and I thought it would also be perfect for the GPD Win Mini.
Does anyone have a GPD win 4 ai 9 hx370 model they’d be willing to sell?
I’ve been looking everywhere and I know the win 5 is the better device but I just prefer the overall look and feel of what the 4 brings. I’ve been looking on eBay but can’t find any. I’m in the UK?
Selling a GDP Win 2 Max in Europe? Poor market?
I’ve tried selling my GPD Win 2 Max 6800U, 32 gb ram and 1 TB SSD model. I’m located in Europe, Denmark, Aarhus, but it really seems like the market is too small for such a device.
My asking price has been 500 Euro, which I don’t feel is too much. Is it pricing incorrect? The model is in great shape.
Any tips?
GPD Win 5 Battery
Hello,
Recently purchased a gpd win 5 from gpd-minipc.com. It arrived today, however there was no battery included. I saw a note that said the battery will be shipped separate however I never got any additional tracking. Was I suppose to also purchase a battery?
I’m confused on if I was supposed to purchase it separate or it comes with one by default and mine is missing.
GPD Win Mini 2025 cooling mod fan not spinning
I just got the mod and finished installing and the fan of the mod is not working.
Did I do a mistake or did I get a defective mod.
As a kid, my dream was to play PC games while lying down—now it’s finally come true
Does anyone here know if this is real?
This is the second time I've seen the Win5 being sold at $900 through eBay. First time it was a German person selling theirs because they no longer needed it so it seemed feasible however after that one was sold this one started appearing. Same country just different person and the same price. It says two have already been sold so i was just wondering if anybody here knows
GoTweaks added support for GPD devices
The latest version of GoTweaks just added specific support for GPD devices.
It integrates well with Xbox FSE via the GameBar, allows TDP and fan control with per-game profiles.
The previous version already worked well on AMD-based GPD devices, this one just goes the extra mile.

Win 5 AMD Driver Crash
Anyone one been having driver crashes on the most recent AMD driver? I have the 395 model. Seems like there's no rhyme or reason and it only happens with certain games.
The driver will either crash and force a reboot, or it will pop up with a message stating that it's in Safe Mode and to reboot.
I've tried to reinstall it multiple times. Considering doing a fresh install of Windows or moving to Steam OS but also don't really want to do that if I don't have to.
GPD Win 5 tool??
Hi. I just got a Win 5 but I don’t think it has the tool installed that changes TDP etc. where do I get this from? I can’t seem to find it. Thanks.
Crimson Desert on Bazzite & Win5
I saw that getting CD to run on linux wasnt as straight forward on the Bazzite subreddit. How has it been running for people who own the win5 and installed bazzite on it?
GPD Win 5 - loving this thing after 48 hours of gaming
Short review of the GPD Win 5
Absolutely loving this thing after 48 hours of gaming 😄
My biggest concern was the cooling and noise ^^"
But in the end, that fear was completely unfounded. Up to around 30 to 35W, the fans are audible but not distracting, even without sound. If you lower the TDP, it gets even quieter. And honestly, once you’ve got your volume at around 30%, it doesn’t matter anyway. It’s more something for people sitting in a train or bus to think about.
You can push the Win 5 up to 80W, but yeah, then it gets properly loud.
Personally, I don’t see much point in that unless you’re gaming with headphones.
I also made a quick video about it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_gMF9dvlU4
I feel like there are way too few videos where you can just hear the fan noise properly.
Like with the MSI Claw 8 AI, there’s also a tool to control TDP and fan curves, you can see it in the video.
So you can tweak everything on the fly while gaming, which is actually pretty nice.
My current sweet spot is 35W on a 1440p monitor and 25 to 30W on the go.
Battery life is around 100 minutes for me at 30W. I’m currently playing Pragmata and Crimson Desert.
With lower TDP, like emulation or lighter AA games, you can definitely get more out of it, but this setup works perfectly for me right now. I haven’t really tested smaller games yet in terms of battery life.
What surprised me the most in the end was gaming without the battery attached.
The weight feels so much better compared to something like the Claw 8 AI.
I didn’t expect that at all, especially since I originally didn’t plan to play plugged in.
And yeah, one thing that turned out to be way more important to me than expected is the size.
I had the Claw 8 AI before, insanely powerful device, no question, but for me personally it’s just too big and too heavy.
The GPD Win 5 was honestly more of a test purchase. I wasn’t even sure if I’d like it.
But I can already say now that for what I wanted, it was absolutely the right choice.
It just fits perfectly in my hands and is way more comfortable to carry around

GPD Win Mini 2023 + Linux questions
Hi all,
I just recently picked up a GPD Win Mini (7840u w/ 780m 32G ram - pretty sure it's the 2023 version) - I'm planning on putting linux on it - haven't decided the release yet, possibly Fedora or a Debian based distro. Just not sure what other tools might be available. I found some on here that are like 5 years+ old and not maintained. Was kind of hoping there was a site focused on optimizations similar to the asus-linux one for Asus gaming laptops.
Gpd win 5 questions
I'm trying to decide if the win 5 will be a good fit. I'm cool with the form factor and battery life, but if I use a dock can I hook it up to my 2 monitors at my desk? i currently use the win mini 2025 for work but if I can use the 5 in it's place, I'll be sold.
any problems ergonomically other than the pointy triggers for any of you?
100w charging isn't a problem, screen size when mobile is fine.. work stuff is basic spreadsheets and emails so that shouldn't be a problem.
1 USB c 4 port, will it accept charging?
