Anybody else disappointed that black flag is getting a remake ?

Idk if its the right word

Out of all the games they could be remaking they choose black flag?

They could have remade assassin's creed 1, everyone was asking for it

They could remake the ezio trilogy

Far cry 1 and 2

Assassin's creed 1 doesn't even have subtitles !

Also, ac 1 is stuck in 360/ps3 gen, so it would be nice to have a better version of the game avaible

And yet they choose black flag? The game didn't even age, its still perfectly playable

In my opinion it doesn't need a remake

And the parkour looks worse btw, idk how

As a fan of ubisoft, im getting tired

So, ive been playing ubisoft games since…ever ? I love their games like Assassin’s creed, prince of Persia, far cry and etc

But like, im getting tired. Since odyssey their games are becoming worst everytime

I love the old games, i think they are great, but the new ones…

Ac valhalla, mirage i think that they are extremely boring

Shadows was better than those two but still… I dropped the game after 15 hours Maybe

I absolutely hate The new combat, i hate the level system

And why is the parkour worse ? Unity is 12 years old and has the best parkour, in 12 years they didnt improve the parkour but made it worse ?

Far cry 3 and 4 are great games, 5 was mid, but 6? I stopped after 10 hours, i hated the story and Even the gameplay

Do we seriously need levels in every game?

Plz bring Back the old combat, it was peak killing 12 guys all by yourself, now I feel like i take forever just to kill one Guy

Dont Even get me started on those sponge ennemies

And they have great ip’s that they are doing nothing? When is the next splinter cell for exemple ?

Like i Said, im tired

its like after odyssey it all went to sh*t

The old games had Nice storys or Even great, look at Ezio trilogy, ac 4, unity they all had good combat, parkour and story

We had great characters like Ezio, Edwards, Arno and now? We have the boring guy/girl from valhalla, the guy from mirage and naoe (shes alright) and yasuke wich I didnt like him at all, he feels too robotic and no personnality

And now? Its like its worse on every aspect

Valhalla, mirage, shadows all have extremely boring everything and thats their main ip

They can make great rpg games, origins and odyssey were great, bayek is one of the best characters in the franchise

How can’t you improve something from 12 years ago? How did you manange to make it worse ?

Ubisoft when you ask them why they can't re-implement basic fucking mechanics and features for their remake of a 2013 game (It's too daunting for this indie studio)

Never seen crowds like this in any game post origins

I never played ac mirage, and never will tbh because the setting just doesn't interest me. Even though they said they were returning to their roots with that game. However I have played a little of origins, Oddysey, Valhalla, and shadows and like clockwork I bounced off those games about 20-30 hours in and (i maybe played 60 hours of origins) they are just too big, and the story was too boring. But oh my god im playing unity for the first time and plan on playing syndicate after and damn, just damn

Let me tell you, This is why ubisoft ever gained any respect with players in the first place before they went and completely lost it. The world feels big and is densely populated and incredibly detailed. The new games look good sure but they feel so artificial. Paris is full of life and you can tell every inch of the game had so much care and attention put in. The new rpg like games just clearly have way more areas that feel samey, or uninteresting and its so obvious that the love they used to put into their games is not there. Say what you want about follow and easdropping missions , but I much prefer this old combat at least. And blending in with crowds is such a cool feature I can't believe they took it away. I guess it would be impossible to fill their new worlds with this many npcs.

Like seriously Its actually incredible walking through these busy streets, or coming across a huge protest or a massive riot with a giant crowd. Im blown away. Again I might have heard mirage brought back some of these features but ubisoft has ruined its good will with me anyway and its only through stockholm syndrome that I even gave any of the rpg games a chance but I cant believe how immersive unity is. Low-key its like nothing ive seen in an open world game when it comes to npc density and world detail.

I know I'm glazing here a bit and unity was full of bugs I heard when it realeased. Also im pretty sure this is a fps enhanced and slightly remastered (not remade) version of the game and i am playing on next generation console too soo just keep that in mind. The story very well might also turn out to be not that great but just opening up the map of Paris and seeing it all fits in my screen I let out a visible sigh of relief. I get that to so many gamers these days its all about value and hours you can put in the game versus how much you pay for it but games like pragmata prove that sometimes less can indeed be more and ac unity is a prime example of when developers used to add substance to their games without bloat. All the new games just lose the atmosphere that this game has. Ac shadows came pretty close to nailing the vibes sure, but that game had a laundry list of problems (story, bloat, ect.) That anyone with half a brain would just play ghosts of tsushima instead.

Can’t create Ubisoft account for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on Steam – error from Azerbaijan

Hello. I am a citizen of Azerbaijan. I bought the game Assassin's Odyssey from Steam. I am required to have a Ubisoft account. I have encountered an error many times when opening a new account. I am still creating an account with the same email and it still gives this error. an error occurred while trying to send your request. please try again later. I thought maybe I created an account and tried to log in, but the account was temporarily blocked. Could it be related to this country? I also checked with a VPN and it didn't work.

Fuck Ubisoft, got kicked out of 3 games one of them was arcade mode and I STILL LOST A BADGE BECAUSE OF THAT(do devs have a working brain?)

Ps: atleast add an indicator that there can be possibility for latency issues in the lobby where you select the mode also give this game to a better company

edit: minor spelling mistakes

I love Black flag and I love being right about Ubisoft's screwups. It's been a good weekend for me.

I'm very excited about the remake but I'm also gleefullysmug seeing Ubisoft pretty much admit it wasnt the greatest decision to turn their best franchise into RPG slop

[early access] Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era - Ubisoft only co-publishing and no UbiSoft connect

Unfrozen is developing and Hooded Horse is publishing. Ubisoft is still the IP owner and co-publisher of the Heroes franchise, but very much hands off on this title - which is great.

here is a Q&A from 10 months ago where it says "Ubisoft will remain involved as the holder of the Heroes IP, and continue to fully support the project." - whatever that means.

just wanted to share that this OG Ubisoft banger IP has a new release in early access which is so far well received, and Ubisoft does not play a major role in developing nor publishing.
