Weird customer comes in and I already know of his shenanigans. I can understand that people have their own hobbies and interests that they wish to talk about.
But this guy just loves to talk about his guitars, specifically his trans-aciustic guitar. I swear everytime he comes to pawn it he tells me his life story with it, he probably nuts to that shit. He then talks about his life problems.... tf do I care man? Just pawn your shit and leave my guy stop being weird.
Today he came because he had another guitar pawned with us that he said himself "its a piece of shit." A begginer guitar that he pawned alongside a guitar case. So he comes in to just get the case out and leave the guitar here. So I go through our usual procedures, checking in with my manager, and explain to him that to get his case out he needs to pay the cost of the guitar and the total accumulated interest instead of having to pay the full amount for the guitar and case.
The guy's jaw dropped in shock like I just cursed at him or something. He complains, we go back and forth, then he drops that bs line. "She doesn't know anything snd you know why? Its becaude shes a woman!"
"She doesn't know you can sell the guitar and get the money for the interest and then some!" Not how it works but ok my guy.
Tldr: Customer came and thought he wouldn't have to pay to pick up his stuff. Gets a reality check.
