Class recommendation

An awesome available class for Fall semester. The description on self service is absolutely buns, but this class is going to be tight AF. The professor is one of my favorites as well.

Graduating dirt poor…

With tuition increases, I am expected to pay 25k in student loans once I graduate- which is this Friday!

I didn’t qualify for aid, yet I am all on my own financially living with my parents. I recently had medical bills wipe my savings, and I am broke. Life is hard as is, and thought of these loans coming soon is heavy.

I plan on having a larger grad party in hopes to start some emergency savings with gifted money.

I have 2 jobs currently and have a nice internship lined up once I graduate. Any financial advice from someone with wisdom?

tbh… gas prices are insane and are only getting worse. what’s the probability the school will actually respond if (commuter) students request things like zoom sessions for classes? 😓 $70 to fill my (hybrid) 2x a week as a commuter is just so expensive but obviously being in class is required ..

also don’t get snippy w/ me because some of y’all on here love to argue lmao i feel this is a valid concern considering gas prices are ONLY rising bro

Soooo im graduating with my Bachelor's! Yay! But im like lowkey panicking because what the heck am I gonna do now lol im tryna just find any food /costumer service jobs because thats what I have experience in. Along side experience within my degree. However, im getting no bites. I feel that even after going to the career center, I still have no clue where to go once the 15th hits.

I think im also just adjusting. Like dang, 2 years of my life when by quick. I did it but now what? Lowkey sent me into a low grade depression paired with existential dread lol. But It could be worse, could have been depressed but without a bachelor's degree so ayeee.

Plz tell me im not alone. Lol ;_;

Anybody else have their finals cancelled? 🥳 🙌 🎉

The two finals I’ve been dreading and brutalizing myself to study for have been cancelled due to the canvas breach. Not just some GE courses either but upper division bio and anthropology!

We earned this 😎

Hey Y'all, happy spring 🍃. I'm writing a thesis comparing food attitudes with social media habits and looking for data in the field in the form of this survey. It would be so helpful if any of you reading have a minute and would be able to fill it out! 🙏 Many thanks and All responses much obliged 🫡🫡🫡

Oh and happy to post back here with the results once data collection is complete

Where’s everybody selling their unwanted stuff ? College edition ?

Anybody moving out of their apartments/dorms soon. If so any good things you’re looking to get rid of? I’m looking on Facebook marketplace for moving sales or free furniture. I’m not sure where else to look. My mom and I love to get things secondhand. I would love outdoor furniture. Old jewelry. Anything that can be upcycled really !

To be honest, all honesty. I’m grateful for the opportunity to attend this school. And it’s been a blessing. But now I’m gonna dive into my evaluation of the school to the next wave of transfers. 100% it’s 2x harder than CC.

• in CC I would get 3.0’s and above like nothing. And it’s not like that in uni for me

• CC I did most of the work on my phone and it’s like I needed to actually have a bigger device laptop/tablet to actually do my work and open up modules and materials this semester

•still struggling in classes even though I averaged 2 hours a week on my phone

•the clubs are kind of hidden it’s just a lot fraternity booths in front

• I feel like the tutoring tables and center are hidden. I still don’t know where there at

• still got no idea where the dining hall is

I don’t want to hate on the school I really don’t but you know this college stuff definitely not how it is in the movies. It’s more of a survive and thrive thing ig. I look forward to returning next school year tho and can’t wait for football season. Let’s persevere together. Go dogs?🤣

Haha God bless tho have a great day feel free to share a comment.

Don't really feel like being on campus for finals and I really just want somewhere safe and quiet to study. I mainly rely on the FAX bus to take me places if that's any help. Appreciate any help!

I come to you, so no waiting around or dropping your car off. Trying to build up some local clients and reviews.

Graduating soon!!

Lowkey thought about ending my life for like a year because of how extremely lonely I am. In all aspects of life haha but I’m graduating on Friday!! With my masters :) very proud of myself. It reminds me of how my dad told me I wasn’t good enough for college and that I’d drop out and not be successful. WELL first in the family to get a masters! And get to apply to doctoral programs soon as well.

Anyways good luck to everyone this semester!

Does anyone have the email notification sent by Fresno State University (California State University, Fresno) regarding the Instructure/Canva security incident that occurred around April 30, 2026?

how supportive is Fresno state (advising, financial aid, professors, etc.) Do they actually help when you need something or do you have to figure everything out yourself?

I’m asking because I want a college that’s actually helpful and not one where you’re on your own.

Hello, I took the chem 1a course. I have a 92% for the lecture portion and i ended up getting 8/8 bluebooks, 14/16 post lab assignments, 6/6 essential and 6/9 important skills. This is considered passing but i did not attend the last lab skills test and i am afraid how much this will affect my grade. I understand that it is my responsibility to check the syllabus for things like this but i just wasnt thinking and i was happy getting a passing grade. I have been absent only once in this class. Has anyone who has taken this class missed one of the lab skills test? Was your grade okay after? If my grade is lower than i need it to be what can i say to my lab instructor about this when grades are posted? Please help me from my mistake.

Just planning ahead of time. This semester was my first semester at Fresno as a transfer and I’ve never took classes during fall before, so when do fall aid reward emails usually get sent out? I also registered for fall full time and I’m hyped to continue my education.
