Forza Horizon6 - which gamepass?
Hello!
I have Xbox Series S and PC
I want to play Forza Horizon6
Which gamepass i need? Essential, Premium or Ultimate?
I want to play mainly on my PC, but i can play only on console too. (i dont need to play on PC and then resume my progress on console, or vice versa. One or another is sufficient for me)
Sincerely
Marko

Anyone still playing Motorsport?
I am... I put it down for about a year while playing other games. Now I'm getting back into it. I like the multiplayer changes where now we have open races for every class.
I have a little bone to pick. And it's with a particular player base. They all start their usernames with PRM. I don't know what it means or why they do it, but they all seem to (suspiciously) win every race. I've saved race clips and watched their telemetry and there's never any wheel-spin, and the throttle and brakes are always 100% (one or the other, not both). I'm not saying they're cheating, but they collectively seem to have a 'strategy' that gives them an edge.
I know the developers abandoned us, but there's still a lot of fun racing happening.
Many opinions were expressed on this sub years ago that "Japan is never going to happen." ...Oops!
It's a strange journey into human psychology. Links are not for "call-out", it's to prove that a person (surprisingly) actually said what I'm quoting:
- "Playground Games is UK based. So chances of FH6 Japan are [...] slim." link
- Reality Check: obviously the location of the dev has nothing whatsoever to do with what locations are possible or impossible.
- "Japan is almost 100% impossible" link.
- Reality Check: Obviously, Japan could be done just as well as Colorado or Mexico or any other Horizon location, and obviously street racing games have been set in Japan before (Initial D, Wangan, Tokyo Xtreme Racer, and Western-made games too like Midnight Club and Project Gotham Racing). And of course the idea is now proven false.
- "One day people will get the message that Japan isn’t happening. Before I get the cope downvotes the devs have literally said no to the idea several times over the years. Stop trying to make Japan happen, it isn’t going to happen." link
- Reality Check: no the devs never said anything like that. That was a delusional hallucination. Beware of human beings who "argue" by making up imaginary facts in their mind.
- "Don't care about you, your 5 year old logic or those shitty links you spam everywhere. If Japan were a good location they would've chosen it, but it's not. Period." link
- Reality Check: obviously "if it was going to happen, it would have happened" is unintelligent nonsense, since everything that ever happened in the world had Not Happened before it happened. Meanwhile that human being says they don't care about the "logic" that was in fact correct, they think correct reasonable links were "shitty", they think reasons from a few years ago suddenly no longer apply... and meanwhile they probably think their own views are brilliant.
- "[there are several reasons why Japan can't be done]".
link
- Reality Check: no.
- "[I] think that Japan straight up said NO to hosting a Horizon game. Their racing culture is extremely illegal and they take their laws very, very seriously." link
- Reality Check: obviously street racing games have been set in Japan before, and obviously videogames depict crimes as well. So that whole meme idea was deluded xenophobic meme virus, like "ooh ooh, the foreign country won't allow a videogame to depict it! Yeah I'm smart!"
- "This will never be a thing cause Japan will never approve. If Toyota had an issue with their cars ingame image their country" link
- Reality Check:
- "Horizon Japan is like our half life 3. It’s never going to happen because it’s been hyped too hard. Besides, they would need a substantial game direction change to avoid it feeling like a reskinned horizon 5. Back to the start-from-the-bottom of the first game" link
- Reality Check: that opinion is not obnoxious like the others, because it's taking an ironic/cynical/spiritual stance instead of making ridiculously false assertions with full confidence. But anyway, Horizon is not like Half-Life 3 because Microsoft wants to release a Horizon game every couple years...no country location is out of the question.
- "Japan is not a good location for racing games". link
- Reality Check: that's weird considering that Horizon 6 chose Japan, aside from the fact that multiple good racing games were located there, aside from the fact that the environments are obviously just like anywhere else in the world in terms of driveability, aside from the fact that even if the roads were magically "bad" "for racing games" then the game could fictionally adjust it.
- "honestly [Mexico] looks more fun than Japan. Forza has never really been a JDM tuning or drifting game, but more a celebration of all car cultures and race disciplines." link
- Reality Check: no, setting it in Japan wouldn't and doesn't mean it's suddenly about "JDM tuning or drifting" more than anything else. This is obvious. Obviously "all car cultures and race disciplines" would be in every Horizon game, no matter where it's located, including Japan.
- "They said Japan wasn't on their radar as it doesn't provide the geography for the setting they're going for" link
- Reality Check: no
- ""Horizon" Japan has been doomed to fail ever since the fans first uttered its potential existence." link
- Reality Check: no
- "People want [...] Japan because they think the car lineup will be 99% rice burners that way. [...] they're in for a disappointment, Japan has been exporting so many of it's JDM icons and importing European sports cars that you're probably just as likely to see an R34 GT-R on the streets of Tokyo as you are a 911 Turbo." link
- Reality Check: no, obviously car exports/imports have nothing whatsoever to do with location choices for Forza Horizon.
- "they won't do [Japan] since there isn't enough diverse land for [...] mud and terrain and weather physics they insist on thinking is amazing" link
- Reality Check: obviously there's massive ignorance about what is in Japan, since Japan has all the kinds of landscapes that Horizon usually does, and no Japan isn't just cities.
- "Japan would suck for an open world driving game. It's fetishized for what ever reason but doesn't have wife open spaces and doesn't have multiple different types of roads and spaces for people. It doesn't have much in the way of off road areas. The cities are built to be car friendly. And the mountains roads are few and far between. It's not open world friendly." link
- Reality Check: obviously Japan is just as fine as Colorado, France/Italy, Australia, UK, Mexico. Obviously people drive cars in Japan, and enjoy doing it, in various ways. Obviously the games are fictional and have always made adjustments to roads and distances.
- "Japan [...] consists mostly of crowded cities, narrow streets and steep mountains which aren't compatible with Horizon's formula at all." link
- Reality Check: lol
- "[you're] not going to [ever get a chance to] play Horizon in Japan." link
- "A lot of people hope for Japan, but that's just not likely. It wasn't even on the shortlist for Horizon 4." link
- Reality Check: the shortlists are NEVER fully revealed or explained, and even if something wasn't on the shortlist for one game that's irrelevant or whether it's considered for a different year. There are technical reasons per generation, and also marketing reasons, things don't stay the same.
Humans are named homo sapiens, meaning "wise" or "knowledgeable" person. Beware: human beings are often not that.

techtroduce.comForza Motorsport 4 Backwards Compatibility
Probably the most surprising game that isn't backwards compatible, it's widely regarded as a classic of the Xbox 360. Idk whether it's an issue with emulation or it's a licensing issue which that's why it got delisted but even so, the same thing happened to Driver San Francisco but that game is backwards compatible as long as you have the disc or bought it digitally when it was available. Xbox has renewed the BC program so hopefully this game will one day be on that list. Even if you can't purchase it digitally anymore, you should still be able to play it if you own the disc.
Can MS store and Steam play together?
I know its not out yet but I found a good deal on FH6 on MS store but my friend has bought it on steam. will we be able to play together or will i need to buy it on steam?

Forza Horizon online competitive scene in FH6
Hey guys, been playing the horizon titles casually for years but recently with FH5 I got obsessed with meta/power builds and online racing. It would be nice to know what established tuners are going to be messing around with builds on release as FH5 came out a while ago and also where to find these tuners as the creator hub has always been pretty garbage. Is there a thread already for tuners or a sub?
Also, any content creators y’all like who play horizon titles competitively? Lmk
