Made more copper ingots this weekend!

I had a lot of time to work on my copper this weekend. I managed to melt and pour about 20 pounds wort of new ingots, a few different sizes this time. I think I have a good system for pouring the copper now, and a more level surface. They are coming out more even. After cleaning them up, I put the laser to work around the clock! The bigger ones took about 20 hours each to engrave and the smaller ones about 10 hours. My phone's camera is really crappy, they look much better in person. One of these days I'll get a new one. What do you all think of these ones?

A couple from the weekend

Dialing those colors is the challenge. But when you hit them, it’s onward and upwards.

100W JPT M7 Fiber Laser. 300mm lens.

This doesn’t need much power. More about speed and frequency. Lots and lots and lots of test grids were harmed in the generation of these colors.

Somebody on here requested a Valkyrie ingot.......So here it is! This is a larger ingot at about 5"x3"x.75", it's pretty heavy at 3.58 pounds! I used my larger mold for this one. As usual, I melted down several pounds of bare bright copper in my furnace, then poured into molds, then sand to a decent finish and laser engrave with my fiber laser. After a lot of trial and error, I think I have my laser settings for copper nailed down. They are coming out much better and not taking as long. This one took about 22 hours on the laser to complete! I then aged the copper to give it a nice dark finish like an old penny, but that also gives it a look of nice depth and shadowing. What do you all think of this one?

Engrave not filling correctly

Aurora 8 Pro running on lightburn 2.1.00. Currently 800mm/s at 35% power, 100kHz.

Engraving onto aluminium business cards, but I'm getting what initially looks like ghosting in the X axis. I don't think it's ghosting though, as the edges are in the right spot. It seems to just not be filling small details properly. If i speed it up, the larger details also suffer the same issue.

On a normal Co2 machine I'd usually blame Scanning Offset, but i don't think galvos have an equivalent. Any help is much appreciated thanks!
