Realized midway through clicking on support that it’s just Ai and not the old chat bot so I could ask whatever I wanted and it would respond.

I apologize in advance if this goes against any rules but I just wanted to share this crazy good deal with my fellow stoners. DoorDash is doing a buy 1 save 75% on edibles deal for 4/20. I paid $7.82 (plus tip) for two bags of edibles which typically cost $15-$20 each. Happy 4/20!!! :)

So I ordered myself buffalo wild wings and to my surprise once I went to get my order off the porch, I was met with a t-mobile bag. Inside the bag were two brand new Samsung galaxy phones and i’m just really not sure what to do.

I messaged the driver to inform him and he received all three messages and saw two but didn’t respond and also didn’t pick up when I tried to call.

I called door dash and they basically just said I get to keep the items and they gave me my money back but the issue isn’t really the money (well it kinda was bc door dash is expensive) or the fact i didn’t receive my food. The issue is I now just have two phones that don’t belong to me and I’m an apple user so like they are extra useless lol. The person I talked to on the phone didn’t really seem to care much that I was delivered two phones instead of phones.

On the phone boxes there were post it notes with phone numbers I tried to call but they were the numbers for the phones inside so that didn’t work. I also checked the phones themselves to see if I could find some sort of contact to call someone else and let them know, but they were brand new so there was nothing. There was also a clothing tag in the bag as well unrelated to the phones which felt really odd to me.

I also was going to contact the t-mobile store near the buffalo wild wings I ordered from but they were closed.

So now I just feel awful that I have someone’s phones and i’m not really sure what to do about it but here are some pictures of the whole situation 😭

Context: I ordered some food for the night because I just got back from a 4 hour drive and didn’t feel like cooking, the order was pushed back an hour but I was fine with waiting, and once someone was assigned, after the picked up the order they did not move the car for 20 min (in total it delivered was 1-1/2 hours after original estimate). Once they got close to my house they called me (I was on the phone with a family member discussing funeral plans so did not want to hang up) and when I saw the voicemail message (image attached) popping up I was shocked. When I ended up listening to the whole thing it was just a bunch of profanity and screaming about not being able to find the house and about how he was going to eat my food, I sent him a message asking if he needed directions (my house is in an open neighborhood with streetlights so I didn’t see where the confusion was) but I was left on read. Then I heard screaming outside my house, so I went out to confront the dasher and he acted like nothing had happened and walked away, the food was completely cold and smelled like cigarettes. Looking for advice, should I report this behavior to DoorDash? He seemed very erratic and unstable

I'm not understanding the point of adding this feature when so many aspects of this dang app don't work right already. Why are we adding new, pointless crap instead of fixing the stuff that exists?

ALSO its grossly inaccurate anyway. My weekly goal is 900-1000, which I usually make in about 40 hours. Sometimes I have to push a lil harder but USUALLY Ive got 150+ a day coming in working 6 days, about 6 hours a day. How tf are they doing their math to get a "12 hour average" when my actually average is like 35-42? How tf is the max only 770? This has gotta be the dumbest thing they've added yet.

I’m not even mad because I put on clothes, pitch black outside rn, ran all the way to the other house to get my food cause I’m hungry 🤷🏻‍♂️ but the fact there are people who’s houses are SUPPERRR far apart and DoorDash still refuses to give him a refund is INSANE 😭😭

Also the lady who dropped off my food wouldn’t pick up her phone..

Our order was picked up at the shopping center on Coors and I40 (as you can see at the bottom) but I live 3 minutes away from this spot. It was taking a while, we looked back on DD and noticed he ended up over near the airport, are they pulling people over or he ran into them at IHOP? I also don’t know if the Dashers legal name is Renaldo because DoorDash doesn’t require you to enter your legal name for others to see (from what I heard I could be wrong).

EDIT: We called numerous times and texted but he didn’t answer or move from the location.

$1.00 per order? No tips. You taking this??? Like why even order DoorDash at this point man 😭

Inspired by true events

For context: Got the munchies, wanted sweets from Dashmart - 7 miles/13 minutes away according to my gps. Delivery time estimate just keeps getting longer. I ordered 3 different pints of ice cream & 1 other frozen item. Dasher already picked up order. Which means even if the delivery time isn’t extended again, my ice cream will have been in the drivers car for 2+ hours. Temps in my area are low 30’s with a frost warning- I assume the dasher has the heat on in their car (shoot… if it were me, I would).

At this point, I won’t even be able to eat what I got.

But if I cancel will it affect the dasher at all? I don’t wanna screw them over :/

Customer here, last night my area had massive tornadoes I wasn't aware would be smacking us so I ordered food. I had to BEG this person not to deliver it because it was too dangerous and I was hiding under my house at the time with no power lol. Ended up increasing tip and then cancelling so I'd take the hit for it, nobody's lazy cheat meal is worth your life
