on windows and android - while i'm impressed by all the features like realtime stems and effects, i find the knobs almost impossible to handle precisely and thus do 'real' transitions like with EQ or filters that may invove turning both knobs at once and manual effects. am i right that this would come more naturally on a controller? "why are you even asking" well i got the app to try the activity out before pulling the trigger on one

So I have a question. I haven’t used djay pro all that much but the little I have I liked. I’m also intrigued at the prospect of being able to dj with my iPad. I began thinking I wanted to djay pro to be able to read my external hard drive I generally use for my library. However I then realized while connected to my iPad that if I have my external connected I won’t be able to connect to my rane mixer. Which I guess that means I can’t use an external hard drive with djay pro on iPad. I’d have to condense my external drive down significantly to store internally on my iPad. Am I correct in this assessment?

Is the solution simply to store a smaller collection in the iPad and rely more on the online sources?

Hi all. I have a Traktor Z1 Mk2, downloaded some mappings from the Djay Pro forum and another that I found somewhere, but none of the mappings work. One of them, Djay Pro reacted with a message that there was an external device/mixer but then noting moves. My Z1 just stays with the deck switch button at the top orange and nothing else.

Any ideas? If anyone has this working, can you share the map?

Solved: Problem was MIDI mode - SHIFT + top mode/deck button.

Like the title says, I´m wondering if it´s possible to change the tempo (specifically, double the tempo) of more than one song at once. I´d like to do this because (just one example) a bunch of my Jersey Club tracks are being analyzed at half-time, that is at 75 bpm instead of 150 bpm. Can I change all of the 75bpm tracks at once instead of doing it individually?

If this is impossible, are there any workarounds?

Just writing this to try to be helpful and save someone $20. I just purchased DJay Pro on my iPhone for $30/yr. I downloaded it on my iPad and before logging in it tried to sell me on Pro for $50/yr. Moral of the story, if you’re on iOS and looking to buy DJay Pro, make the purchase on your iPhone rather than iPad, then you can login on iPad and have Pro (even if you’re on a different Apple ID too which I found very surprising and thankful since I’m using the wife’s iPad).
