I have seen other say there is an option to turn it off but I am literally missing the option. It should be under this section according to friends and other posts but its just not there.

My boyfriend was streaming something yesterday when all of a sudden the sound cut out. It’s been gone ever since, and we can’t figure out what it could be. We can’t even figure out if it’s on my end or his. Sound isn’t working on any of my devices, all permissions are allowed on both ends, nothing’s muted, no sound on speaker or bluetooth devices. Not super sure what to do.

yesterday an ex friend of mine who was an admin in a server i’m in got on and nuked the server out of spite. luckily they weren’t the owner so i was invited back, but i had to put a vpn on even after i got unbanned-

turns out its like that for every member, even after i unban them it still says banned after a refresh etc. how do i fix this? there was over 700 members so i need an easy fix at some point

As the title suggests, I'm trying to figure out how to stream videos on Chrome to Discord, but I'd also like to play a game at the same time. Problem is, when streaming the window for the show, it's picking up ALL desktop audio, so it is receiving game sounds overlapping. Does anyone have any experience dealing with this?

I also use Sonar and open to OBS options, if possible.

I made a post about people not verifying and leaving straight away. When people joined, they noticed that there were no channels (most categories are hidden for unverified users, apart from the basics, so they can't find the verification channel). However, this got me thinking: is there a point in having one in a Discord server? My main goal is to create a safe and chill Discord server, but I want more people to join and talk, and activity is already an issue because no one talks despite there being events. I know that bots can still bypass verifications or complete them, which is making me rethink it.

Any comments, suggestions, or tips would be great, especially if you own a successful Discord server.

I'm new to discord, so this might be the norm here and it's just that I'm not aware! Any ideas on how to change this?

I made a community for about a week now, The dashboard doesn't attach any users at all, and yes I did bump my server but it didn't do nothing, is there anything else I can do to attach people to my cominity server? Please help.

I logged off from discord because I needed to eat and when I came back I suddenly saw my account had nitro on it. I first thought I got hac ked but there subscription part is empty but it isnt and the billing is also empty and my account doesnt say it has any weird login detected. Does anyone know how the nitro got on my account?

I've been trying for like a week to do the 15 minute game quests that give 700 orbs but because I don't have a desktop or console I just can't.

I tried to do them on the web while I was on desktop mode but they asked to use the app on my desktop instead. Idk what to do or if there is any solution to this

I have looked both under Voice & Video and under Advanced, and I can't find it anywhere. This just happened like last week and I don't know where to find it still. I have reinstalled the app and restarted computer twice and it's still not there. I'm using the desktop version. Not mobile or Chrome.

Bit of a weird one this- but is there any chance to add a feature to allow for the alert sound to only play once per user?

So my request is an option to allow for the alert to still play once but not again till x time (Something you can set, maybe on however many seconds/minutes) so you don't get multiple sound pings.

..and yes I have tried to ask friends to try not to do this but.. I mean people are people and several are guilty of it, even if I point it out ;P

i wanted to change my discord icon to a character that i like cause someone drew him at it but even when i do all the right steps i get a pop up that makes it so i cant so im asking yall to please help me out with this
