I’m new to crypto/DeFi and wanted some opinions from people who understand smart contracts better than I do.

I’ve been testing a platform called claude-trade.app connected through Trust Wallet on the Base network.

A few things I’ve observed so far:

- funds remain in my own Trust Wallet

- I have to manually confirm smart contract calls

- I’ve successfully transferred ETH out to Coinbase

- I have NOT been asked for my seed phrase

- there’s no pressure to deposit more money so far

- profits/losses seem to reflect in the actual wallet balance

The setup appears to be:

- connect wallet

- manually approve trades/sessions

- bot trades via smart contract

- weekly 9% performance fee paid manually from profits

However, I still have concerns because:

- the founder/person behind it (“Edward Carter”) is difficult to verify

- branding/images feel a bit AI-generated or anonymous

- claimed returns seem very high

- I can’t find much independent discussion about it online

For people experienced with DeFi/smart contracts:

  1. Does this sound like a known type of scam/risk?

  2. If funds remain in my own wallet, what are the main dangers?

  3. What permissions/approvals should I specifically watch out for?

  4. Could this simply be a very high-risk strategy rather than an outright scam?

  5. Are there ways a smart contract can become dangerous later even if withdrawals currently work?

Genuinely trying to learn how these systems work rather than blindly trust or blindly panic.

Hey everyone,

One thing I’ve been struggling with in crypto is tracking wallets that consistently get into new tokens early.

Sometimes you find a wallet that seems to make solid moves (even in a space full of rugs), but actually monitoring it in real-time is painful. By the time you notice, it’s already too late.

So I started building a simple tool:

  1. Connect your wallet (no cost)
  2. Add wallets you want to track
  3. Get instant Telegram alerts when they buy, sell or transfer tokens

The goal is to make it easier to spot patterns, react faster, and do your own analysis based on real on-chain activity.

Before I open it publicly, I wanted to ask:

  • 👉 Would you actually use something like this?
  • 👉 Any features you’d want to see?

Appreciate any feedback 🙏
