But as a major caffeine addict, this irks me.
(Edit: okay since people wanna get mad at me because they can't tell what's wrong. The two things I noticed is that the caffeine amounts are just incorrect, and the y axis is fucked up. Also notice the post flair before commenting.)
The supposed intent was to show that humans are exceptionally energy-efficient on bikes. But I was more distracted by the crappy data viz. For starters, the original post was animated. As in, the colour blobs were "humming" and adding nothing apparent to the graph. Then we have a bunch of unlabeled points (e.g., the second dot to the left of the text for bee). THEN we have a whole section for "swimmers" which contains... just salmon. Why is the purple cloud that shape at all if you only have one fish in the data set? *THEN* we have unnecessary horizontal lines in the key box, the lack of clarity on what exactly a "light plane" (or really any of the vehicles) means, and whatever a "velomobile" is...
