Since many didn't play Summer Camp; I'd like to list interesting events that happened in the Game!

I am one of those few that thoroughly played Danganronpa S Summer Camp (over 120 hours) and I know the reception to the game wasn't the best, I'd like to say it still was enjoyable, it just could have been a lot better but in this post I'm not discussing the gameplay/criticism but rather interesting or notable character interactions or any events that stood out to me that maybe other's would find interesting

-[Full Spoilers Ahead for Summer Camp and all of Danganronpa 1 - V3]-

------------------------------------

- Izuru becomes good friends with Kaede. This actually started out in V3 post game and expanded to this one

- Toko and Komaru are still friends here, and Komaru met the UDG cast through a field trip

- Akane thinks Shuichi's name is "Luigi"

- The Warriors of Hope, still hating older people, come to accept some characters like Taka, Gonta, and Sakura

- There is an overarching story of 1 Prologue, 5 Chapters, and an Epilogue. The Prologue is about 1 hour long, and Epilogue is about 2 hours long. The 5 chapters each are a small bite sized story with each respective class being the characters fighting a Monokub who has become a boss fight and helping them find their own hope(yes the monokubs hope). It's fun to see every respective class back together and interacting

- Nagito meets Makoto and thinks Makoto with the luck talent holds hope unlike himself

- Tsumugi's mastermind sprite is one of her options as a playable character but she is not a mastermind or evil in this AU (in V3 post game she was)

- Yasuhiro predicts Mukuro's future and sees black hair before Mukuro shuts him down

- Kyoko cannot understand Gundham at all

- Characters like Kokichi and Kyoko see through Monaca's facade

- Chihiro decides to reveal that they are a guy to the whole cast and everyone supports Chihiro including Tenko

- By the way Tenko decided to want to improve her hatred of men and enlists Makoto and Twogami to help her improve

- Kaito, Maki, and Shuichi are still training buddies

- Maki looks out for the warriors of hope a lot

- There is a "Mastermind" for the conflict of this story

- In the end, Junko and Mukuro choose Hope over Despair

Chiaki Nanamii

I’m in the process of playing 2 for the first time and I just completed the First Chapter so I’d appreciate it if you’d spoiler text any spoilers in the comments if that is at all possible. Part 3 of my Danganronpa 2 Mii series and I decided to make Chiaki! What’s kinda hilarious about Chiaki is that most characters that I’ve seen so far in the series stand out by being outwardly quirky whereas she doesn’t, but because of that, she stands out even more so. She’s introspective and hyper-focuses on things she’s invested in, but that also leaves her sleepy and often slow to process. She’s serious, yet not stoic. Silly, yet a bit deadpan. Just a very interesting character that I’m excited to see more from in later chapters. I’m planning on making Nagihoe as a Mii next, >!but after that first class trial, I’m not all that excited about making that lunatic lmao.!<

How on earth did Junko earn the title 'Ultimate Fashionista' when this girl exists?

Who else could mix orange with purple and make it work?

Nobody, that's who.

Kyoko is no doubt the drippiest character in the franchise.

this rule had so much potential I hope they'll use it in the future at some point

Having a killer in the cast go unpunished can go in a lot of interesting directions writing wise it's such a shame they brought it up only for it to ultimately be useless

If YOU were in a killing game, what would be your talent? What would be your role?

I'd probably be the ultimate plushie collector. And, I'd 100% be the first victim.

P.S.: I spent way too long making this monokuma poster, just to post it on Reddit 😭

Just some Kokichi and Himiko fanart :3 (they're so cute together)

The second one is concept for my apocalypse au (he stole her hat and is using her as a mage cannon against zombies) the last one is the first one but without the effects

2x2’s Release Date: A Theory (And Some Hope)

I know the absence of a release date has been memed to hell and back, and maybe I’m just going with anything by this point, but I think if Spike Chunsoft’s been quiet this long, there’s probably someone keeping them quiet. Someone…like Nintendo

I believe that there’s a chance SC has some sort of contract with Nintendo to not give any details until Nintendo’s ready to release the next trailer, and that’s likely going to be in the next Nintendo Direct, since the very first trailer was in one as well (though, given Nintendo’s history with Directs, there might not be much hope here, either…)

Either way, I think since June’s a common month for Nintendo Directs, we’ll just have to wait and see if 2x2 makes another appearance there, and we could possibly finally have our release date (it’ll probably either be one of those “Available Now/Next Week” releases to coincide with the summer, or we’ll just get a regular release date in the fall or winter)

Just had another thought. Spoilers for Danganronpa: The Stage (I know a lot of people haven’t seen it)

So in the stage play, Junko actually survives because Makoto rightfully points out that she wants it, so instead she’ll be kept alive.

So what if this was canon? What if Junko survived in the games? And how would they keep her alive to begin with?

Class 78 deserved more attention

I get why Class 77 got the attention in the DR 3 anime since they were detrimental to the start of The Tragedy but I feel the anime could have focused on both classes (though I suppose it would have been too complicated doing focus on both because they were already airing two arcs at the same time) because they were Junko's classmates after all and we barely know anything about their dynamics together before the killing game and it's really sad that these guys don't get more focus. That's one of the reasons why I pump out so much fanfiction involving them because I love them and I think they deserved more attention. I hope maybe one day we'll learn more about them but I think I'm just being too hopeful.
