Why D4VD didn’t use the incinerator
I got attacked in another thread for bringing this up, but people were wondering why David didn’t use the incinerator. Another commenter said the smell would be”noticeable” and I brought up the fact that human corpses burning often smells like barbecue. The link I provided is to a biohazard and remediation company, which references this.
For background: I have a degree in criminology. My uncle also worked in a crematorium.
To answer the original question: why he didn’t use it: most likely laziness and the arrogance that there was no urgency to him getting caught. He fits the profile of many other narcissistic killers I’ve studied, and using an incinerator on his massive property wouldn’t draw as much attention as one would expect.
