Tyler Catastrophe and lolcow culture

So Stuart has been caught up in big internet drama involving someone Tyler Catastrophe. The whole drama surrounding Tyler is that he has a toxic parasocial relationship with a YouTuber (defending said YouTube admist allegations and victim-blaming) but has been the laughing stock. 4chan coined a word known as lolcow referring to individuals online for people to harass/gawk (typically neurodivergent and/or queer) and milk for laughs

He was a fan of Stuart and toured his studio. Tyler claimed that he had a job offer as Stuart's assistant but called Stuart out over not giving him a job.

At first, Stuart cleared the air with Tyler clarifying there was no job offer but Stuart then made snarky posts/jokes and comments from both his personal and CH accounts and it actually sickens me a bit. This is a GROWN ASS 45 year-old man who at his peak was selling paintings and doing photoshoots with fucking Lady Gaga but has now steeped low into cesspool lolcow culture (which has lead to some of these so-called lolcows taking their own life) to gain clout/fans as he is that desperate for attention.

Tyler isn't a good person (ESH as r/AITAH would put it) but it would be extremely valuable for everyone to not engage with lolcow bullshit and not pay Tyler any more attention.

Email is offline and order not found

I put an order in last September, the status changed to “paint is being made” within a few days and stayed there for several weeks. I messaged them asking for an update on it and got a weird response from someone called “Akanksha” saying they had taken over my order personally and it was now being prioritized with the studio team. Sounded like nonsense, but backlog whatever maybe it would come eventually. Well I heard nothing new for months. Status still said paint was being made.

I emailed them again in January but never got any response. I got busy with life and kind of set it aside for a while but I was curious today and tried to pull up the order status and it said “can not find order.” I double-checked the order number and my email and sure enough, they “can not find order.”

So I sent an email to hello@culturehustlesupport.com, the email listed on their website, and got a response saying that my message was undeliverable because the email could not be found.

This company is basically garbage from what I can tell. I called my bank to submit a fraud claim.
If they had legitimate supply issues or something and communicated with me about it I wouldn’t be so upset. I would be annoyed but shit happens and my hobby can wait for the paint.

In the meantime I bought some Musou Black off Amazon and it is very nice, utterly flat black. Now I need to find a highly reflective white alternative.

Do not let 120 days go by without initiating a claim against the charge

After a long wait time I talked to a claims manager at my bank and they told me that Visa guidelines prevents them from even starting any claims that are older than 120 days. Visa will automatically deny it. Apparently all the banks follow these guidelines and Mastercard is the same way. I bet Stuart k owe this too and that’s why they string you along until the 120 days have passed then your order disappears from their tracking.

Learn from my loss. Don’t let 120 days go by.
