Buying advise Yamaha warrior 1700 2004

Really need advise if anybody know. I Never had a cruiser before, becomin 30 this year dont want sport bike anymore. I want a cruiser, havin license for 8 years but only had 4 full seasons experience had 1999 gs500e for 2 seasons (great bike) then got 2004 cbr 600rr (was stolen) was really fun but after couple hours was not comfortable felt like im in egg shell shimp. Beein lookin around for one, got stuck on this one for now, gon see it on Saturday, will check vin upon arrival, i did check some info online about problems of these bikes but i wanna know more like what spots usually oil comin out for no reason (where it shouldn't) where to check for droplets after the ride and any info that will help me on decision to buy it. I see online people say this bikes have some recalls about like brake and clutch cables which is not a problem to switch but other recalls lhandlebars, tps causin to stall.,,,, and i have to look for vin number plate marks on the bike to check if recalls were fixed by the dealer or check online by vin, if not wouod i be able to fix em for free by the dealer? Seller claims its 4k miles on it. I see they changed the oem tank barrel exhaust to aftermarket one, anyone familiar with it, is it too loud? Seller doesnt have other included parts but the passenger suction cup seat and the passenger seat back bracket. I see aftermarket dual or solo seats onlike on pacificcoaststars. What amount this bike worth, Any important info about this bike is helpful like. This place is like a stock of knowledge, thank you all again very much.

Indian Sport Scout RT vs. HD Lowrider ST

I'm having a dilemma between these two: (prices are for Europe + options I want)
Sport Scout RT: 25,700 USD
Lowrider ST: 32,800 USD

Disclaimer: I am comparing the scout and not the chief as for the price difference between the two, I'd go for the scout.

The dilemma: the Lowrider ST is my dream bike. If money wasn't an issue I'd go for that one. But the difference in price is quite considerable. On top of that, I really value Indian's digital screen where I can use navigation.

My question for owners of these bikes is, do you think the price difference is worth it for the looks/performance? Which one would you go for?

PS: I don't have my license yet so I can't test ride them

09 Stratoliner & 07 Silverado!

Gotta love this machine. So glad I didn’t pass on her for 3k. My boy picked up an 07 Rad Star Silverado for 1,500$. He spent one days cleaning the fuel system and she fired right up. We’re ready for our first trip.

Finally upgraded to something a little more my speed

Bought this baby a few weeks ago and she has been amazing, love the rowdy sounds of the exhaust mixed with being able to go on the interstate without fearing about going getting to the speed limit

Considering big cruisers, and it is coming down between Indian and Harley. Thought I would put this question out there for owners.

Beautiful sunshine here today in the UK. Would have been rude not of taken the big Vulcan out for a blast up to Peterborough to visit the famous graffiti tunnel 😎

So I bought this bike used and it has a lot of this white buildup/residue on the cooling fins. Anyone know how I would be able to get rid of it. The cooling fins are painted aluminum.

I'm looking to get a motorcycle again. Used and a little older 7.5k budget, hopefully 1000cc or more. FUEL INJECTED.

I like the looks of Yamaha Stryker, victory octane, Indian scout. But when I look into them I see that they are not that great on the highway.

I'm not against Harley, just don't really care about brand over price, so they are generally not on my radar.

I don't like the giant wrap around consoles, CHiPs style windshields, and oversized bell bottom wheel fenders that I see on most highway bikes.

I understand that the windshield, console, and fenders are an aerodynamic necessity for good highway performance and keeps the wind from trying to pull you off the bike, it just seems like there hasn't really been a style update in the last 40 years, other than the batwing. None of the highway cruisers that I have seen look modern.

Am I missing something obvious? Does anyone else share my frustration?

If you know of something that might fit what I'm talking about, even if it's newer and out of my budget, let me know.

No offense to the old school guys, just not my style.

EDIT:

Thanks for all the suggestions, I have a lot more to look into.

To add some detail most of my experience is on dirtbikes when I was younger. A few years back I had a Suzuki mararauder 800, I liked it, but got tired of dealing with constant carb issues.

I am 5'6" 190lbs and gave the best of my knees and back to the army, so fighting the wind gets old, I know a windshield and backrest are necessary, I just don't like the look.

I will keep looking into everything y'all have suggested, one day soon I will be back on two wheels, either on something that's perfect, or something cheap and duct taped together to fit my needs.

Thanks again.

Got my first cruiser and I absolutely love it. 2003 Honda VTX 1800. This bike is so clean and I’m in love with it . The colors pop and she is LOUD.
