so i took a midterm through honorlock by hiding my phone just under the view of the camera, but they flagged it and now the midterm is a zero unless i do well on the final without any issues. can anyone please tell me a better way to cheat? it would be very much appreciated

EDIT: someone told me that using the "ask siri" function could be a possible way to cheat (holding the f5 key until the sidebar pops up on the top right) but i have my doubts. anyone tried that method?

so my online exams are proctored as in you have a proctor watching you and you have to set up your camera in a way that shows you and your surroundings. for the past few exams ive just been using my ipad on the floor and using my toes to scroll and get the answers but i feel this isn’t discreet enough since id have to lean back out of the camera frame nonchalantly. other options would be having someone in the room but that isn’t an option for me. any ways to be super discreet and not suspicious at all?

I have a math final coming up but my professor uses the ProctorU. I just wanted to be able to have a formula sheet (which my teacher has banned) how can I hide this sheet without letting the proctor see it?

First I will talk about my preparation:

I have 2 phones, when I was asked to put my phone away I put my dummy phone away

I have a webcam with extremely narrow window of view, and I tested how high I could move my phone without being detected. To be honest I was a little overkill, I used the ultra wide lenses to keep the phone closer to the monitor and underneath the camera FOV. I wrote all the questions with awnsers on paper as if I was truly solving them just in case I get asked later on. I have no idea what I could have done wrong.

Maybe this happened because I used the restroom? Are we allowed to get up and use the restroom while testing? I did that, and this might be the problem.

My professor sent an email saying he has to review the Honorlock recordings and flags from the final exam before posting final grades. Does this mean people are in trouble automatically if they got flagged, or is this normal?🥹

Basically this whole semester i've been cheating on this online course when it comes to tests, and now the teacher posted an announcement saying i will be reviewing all yellow and red flags on honor lock so don't have your phone around because honor lock picks up signal.

Though, when i take my test I turn off the wifi on my phone, turn on a vpn, and lower my brightness so it can't be seen in my reflection. The test is worth about 300 pts, should I risk it and cheat or should I actually study? The teacher said we could use our notes, so if i look down "looking at my notes" can i still cheat?

So I have a very high stakes exam that I need to take in order for me to be able to graduate high school. The exam uses honorlock and ive never used it or done any online exams like that before. I plan on using a virtual machine but I am not sure if this will get flagged by the system. Another option was using an hdmi cable and connecting it to a tv. Please help me with any tips, I am pretty desperate lol.

hey guys, i don’t typically post on reddit but i am so stressed right now i don’t think i can breathe. anyway today i had a very official english exam online the test wasnt proctored but the camera angle was on my laptop the whole time, and they could see my desk and my legs and everything. due to a technical difficulty at the start of the exam, i was able to quickly screenshot and upload it to gemeni and get answers. so the whole test went super smoothly i even made spelling mistakes and changes etc so it sounds and looks natural. anyway i just came to find out the gemeni google account i was using was my school gmail and i am terrified. the chats delete on gemeni after 72 hours since school admin disabled deleting chats so idk im terrified. they wont check right? idk this is literally making my heart beat out of my chest since this is a super important and official test.

My university is forcing us to use this AI Proctor and now I'm looking for a way to cheat at Rosalyn Proctor.

I cheated on a lockdown test, i’ve always gotten away with it. but today i got an email saying my professor has “questions” for me and that they want to have a meeting discussing it tomorrow because lockdown flagged activity.

do yall know what lockdown could’ve flagged? i used my phone but im sure it was hidden from the camera. i looked down a lot but we’re allowed a flash card to bring in.

how should i go about the meeting? i’m really scared since it was a college class

While taking a practice test on Proctorio I just accidentally found out that I can have Siri come up in the top right corner of my MacBook and type questions into it. Would this flag my test?

Tested out the cheating daddy tool and honor lock detects it as clicking off screen and browser as idle. What other (pls be free) tools can I use and actually work. I have claude pro subscription and am on Macos.

Has anyone gotten flagged or heard stories of people getting flagged for setting up a laptop behind their monitor/camera and reading aloud some but not all of the questions to ai? I know excessive eye/head movements could cause flags but was wondering if this was patched and I'm way late. I was also going to hide my wireless mouse on my lap to use the ai during the test.
