£4 a pint of Guinness in London is a great deal at every Simmons

Is Simmons the the wetherspoons? Because I went there the other day and was shocked at how cheap it was especially seeing as all their locations are so central.

Roujiamo are like a Chinese sausage roll mixed with a burger... quite hard to find on a typical Chinese menu

This one is on Red Lion Street not far from Oxford Street.

£8 Sichuan Chinese lunch - DanDan - Aldgate East

I think 8 quid for a delicious cooked lunch is a ruddy steal. Was very tasty and pretty spicy as well.

Thought I'd share this nice little bargain I found tonight.

I love the salmon fish cakes and I was about to buy them at full price when I noticed these reduced ones for 53p, and then I also saw some cod ones beside them for 62p I thought that's amazing, straight into my freezer they go!

Merkamo - Brick Lane. Great Ethiopian vegan food, was lovely to experience. Works out about £10pp for the sharing platters

Am not a vegan, but would definitely recommend a try. They also have a stall at Spitalfields Market

cafe deccan, crossharbour

great little spot by the dlr - mostly south Indian but they do northern and non-veg dishes too, and the breakfast menu is amazing

Any London restaurants with actually good weekday deals

Feels like more places are doing off-peak specials lately but most of the ones I’ve seen haven’t been anything amazing.
