I recently made a few purchases at a Sublimage event and just a couple of weeks later they launch this set in Singapore.

I don’t really need these products but the kit is so cute. Can someone please talk me out of it?

They are both so different. I don’t have pictures of the Kelly myself so grabbed the one online for reference. I don’t have a bright or tan bag yet. Is this light yellow hard to look after? Does it stain easily? Thankyou for reading. I love the color on the kelly and it has this elegant yet casual look but also love how fun, cute and light gold hardware on the yellow. It just goes so well together. Downside is that it can’t fit my phone as it is a square mini flap but love the adjustable strap. Anyone have either type can offer any advice/suggestions? It is in a size small and he didn’t give me the price. I’m going to assume less than 10 K but we’ll see. Not sure if I should move forward, but I do love the bag. I was asking about it when I first saw it. I still love it. It’s very cute, but I don’t know. I just want to hear your pros and cons on it. sorry I’m such an overthinking and don’t want to regret it.

I recently bought my first Chanel bag while traveling in Japan, and I’ve been going back and forth on whether it was actually worth it.

On one hand, I absolutely love how classic and timeless it is. The quality feels amazing, and buying it in Japan made the experience feel even more special. It kind of felt like a “milestone purchase” for me.

On the other hand… it’s still a very expensive bag 😅 and part of me is wondering if I got caught up in the moment/trip energy.

For those of you who own Chanel:

Do you still feel it was worth it over time?

Do you actually use your bag often or save it?

Any regrets or things you wish you knew before buying?

Classic - Size small $4,150 USD

I scored this vintage supermodel tote at an estate sale for a ridiculous price and I love her. I have had it authenticated, cleaned and appraised. Now I am struggling with how to store it to prevent the sides from sagging any further. Any tips? (I know the chains should be stored inside, they are out for the photo)

I first saw this bag in France in 2022 and was obsessed, but couldn’t afford it. I promised myself I’d buy it if I still wanted it when I finished my residency program. I finally finished earlier this year and the only thing on my mind was this bag! Yay! Photo #1 to celebrate.

I ended up buying from a luxury resale store for AU$7500 ($5375 USD). It was described as 9.9/10 condition, so I was surprised when it showed up with a scratch. Please note that the scratch actually looks much darker and wider in person than it does in photo #2–I think the pearly finish highlights it.

I’m in the USA, so my first assumption was shipping damage. Upon further review of the listing though, I was able to verify that the damage was present. This has backfired on me, and the store is now saying it’s my fault for not evaluating the photo. Picture #3 is the only picture of the back of the bag from the store’s listing. The bag itself is like… 10% of the photo, so it’s a bit difficult to tell that there’s a noteworthy scratch on the bag imo, especially when you’re expecting 9.9/10 condition.

When I reached out to the store, they told me that technically since it’s visible in photos (if you know where to look and zoom in), they could only offer a AU$50 ($35 usd) goodwill credit. I said that was unreasonable, and the store has asked what I think is fair. The problem is, I’m not versed in Chanel pricing or bag care, so I don’t know. Is it worth keeping this bag with this damage, and if so, what discount should I ask for? Or is it better to ask for a return (might not be possible, they don’t generally allow returns)? Am I being unreasonable for saying this issue wasn’t adequately documented in the listing?

These three Chanel bags are my current favorites — the ones I use the most and never want to replace.Even after a few years, they still feel special to me.

Hi guys, Today I was offered one piece from the new Matthieu Blazy collection. My big doubt is that this piece, in black, does not exist on the chanel website. Even the reference bring me to the beige version. Have you ever seen it before? (Official Chanel store)

So my husband bought me a Chanel Deauville tote for my birthday about two years ago, and I’m honestly so upset right now I don’t even know what to do.

The bag has kind of been through a lot. At one point, I accidentally spilled juice inside the inner pouch. Instead of taking it somewhere properly, I tried to fix it myself and used a stain remover (I know… bad idea). After that, it looked fine to me, so I thought everything was okay and put it back in its dust bag.

Fast forward some time later, I took it out and noticed these weird pinkish specks all over the bag. That’s when I realized I probably made things worse. I ended up taking it to a professional bag cleaner, and honestly they did an amazing job — it came back looking basically brand new. I was so relieved.

Since then (this was around February), I’ve kept it stored in the dust bag and haven’t used it at all.

Today I decided to take it out again, and now I’m noticing yellowing across the fabric — especially along the seams and on the bottom panel, but honestly it looks like it’s affecting the whole bag. It wasn’t like this when I got it back from the cleaner.

I’m just really emotional because this bag means a lot to me, and I feel like every time I try to fix something, it ends up getting worse. I don’t know if this is something that can be reversed, if the cleaner is responsible, or if I somehow ruined it over time.

Has anyone experienced something like this with canvas bags? Is this fixable or am I stuck with it like this now? 😔

Back in 2019 when japanvintage shopping wasn't too popular, got this baby...less than 2000usd.. looking at prices these days and my photo albums from the shops, I wish I had a time machine and go buy them all. They were soo cheap
