Hello Chanel community,

I will be surprising my wife with a trip to Rue Cambon in Paris next week. I have been wanting to get her a small bag for her birthday for a while, and I budgeted 5k for it. Looking at Chanel site, I see the bags essentially starting at that price? My question is there something at the flagship store that is under 5k (maybe not a bag) that she’d be happy with? And should I go in telling her “you have 5k to spend”

Obviously, you don’t know her style but the limit of my knowledge of Chanel is the perfume and “The New Look” show a couple of years back. Is Rue Cambon worth for a birthday trip if you possibly don’t buy a bag?
