Hello. I have been borrowing from Cleo for months now and it has been a smooth experience until the last couple days. I started a new cycle of cash advance requests. I got $100 my first day, then I can request another $100 the second day, 300 the next day, all the way up to $500 because I'm very good at repaying. Well it let me borrow the first round of $100 but now when I am requesting my reload, it tells me I'm eligible, it takes me to the final screen where it tells me how much I'm reloading, what date I'll be paying it back, what payment method it will be taking it from, and then I hit the button that says confirm my reload or request reload whatever. That's usually when you then get a pop up that says your reload is on the way. Well when I hit the confirm button, it just infinitely loads. The loading icon just spins. Ive done it like 20 times and sometimes let it spin for hours. I have done everything recommended by the Cleo Ai and google. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it, I have cleared the cash, I have force closed the app, another suggestion is to remove the debit card and add it back but there's no option to do that when I go to my payment methods. It only lets me set that debit card as a default option. Can anybody help me with this if you have ran into it? I could really use the advance.
My 5 & 3 year old snack is out of a house and home 😅 We’ve got about one meal left to stretch until Tuesday. I already owe Dave, Earnin, Cleo, and Float/Tilt until payday next week, and Credit Genie + Albert both denied me. Just trying to make it through the weekend at this point.
Well I officially got out of the cycle recently (guess not actually) but I revoked basically everything and wanted to see what everyone has been talking about with the “second account” on some of these apps
I’ll give you a easy breakdown of what I tried
WONT WORK AS OF MAY 5TH
Tilt - New patch don’t think it works unless you have new bank account, number, and email
Klover - Also patched I believe. They see the linked banks I believe.
WILL WORK AS OF MAY 5TH
Float Me: You can use google voice phone number which is free online, make a random new email, and best part of it all is that you can use the same bank and card as your other account.
Credit Genie: I made a new account with new email, google voice phone, and linked a chime account I’ve never used and they gave me $50
Cleo: New phone and Email as well but I’m not quite sure about the bank — I believe it’s fine but you do have to pay $4.99 before getting the advance
Burnt Brigit, MoneyLion, Albert, Dave, tilt, and not willing to move my direct deposit lol.
Hi All,
I am wondering if there are any tribal loans that will let you revoke ACH without getting sent to collections? I am new to that process, so any information will help!
I am in North Carolina if that information helps
Want to know if Lendly is a real lender? And it’s asking me to verify my income by logging in to work portal and I want to know if that’s legit and maybe if others have used it before?
hey im looking for a triba loan i have awful credit but i need money for an emergency i have found no luck in finding legit ones
Friday will tell once I get paid but I think I'm finally fucking free of this miserable years-long cycle I've been caught in. All thanks to this subreddit, for real! From around the time COVID began and bills became an even bigger struggle than a usual to pay (while still needing to work an in-person job as an "essential worker"), I've been stuck in the worst cycle of borrowing against my paycheck in order to barely scrape by with rent and bills. It's been absolutely horrific and I've been deep in it with probably close to 20 of these stupid, predatory apps. Obviously I knew I was being stupid continuing to borrow, but I just could not break the cycle when I was running on literal fumes in my bank account week to week for years.
Then I stumbled across this sub last Thursday when I got home from work, and saw that people were revoking ACH access. I think I cried both maybe in a little bit of rage and relief because I had no goddamn idea you could do that and wish I knew sooner, and because I finally found a solution. I work a much different job now and get paid better than I ever have but it's still been so hard for me to just get by and I've been paying rent late with my landlord breathing down my neck and scrambling to pay bills and buy groceries and it's been bad.
Now for the first time in years I think I might actually get to see the bulk of my paycheck stay in my bank account for more than two minutes. I still am waiting on a response from a few apps, and I think there are a few "past due" ones where I will probably have to pay due to them being past the date where they would have initially pulled their advance back, and revoke access and delete them after that, but I got responses from the two biggest apps (EarnIn and Brigit) that were swallowing most of my paycheck whole plus a half dozen others.
So I guess we'll see on Friday but I have not felt so hopeful or relieved in literal years. Thanks everyone who's led the way with this... god, I wish I'd known sooner is all I can say.
Is anyone else having issues with the Dave app this morning? It keeps giving me errors every time I try to do something
literally just what the title says. if you’re coming here looking for one of these apps to borrow money from, you are exactly where i was about a month ago. i’m lucky that i was able to get out when i did. please don’t fall into this what feels like a never ending cycle of borrowing and repaying and borrowing and repaying. these apps are predatory and merciless. DONT DO IT! 😂
I don’t understand do they really not hit your credit or pursue for the money? Money lion offered me $1700 in advances that haven’t used once I broke the cycle, what would realistically happen if I borrowed that money and revoked access or didn’t pay back??

I feel like I’ve tried every single cash advance app if I’m being honest, I’m looking for one that’s not that common. I really just need a little bit of money go get some food today. I’m broke and don’t get paid until Wednesday.
Has anyone ever used true? Before I waste 7$ on the membership and find out I’m not even approved for an advance do they have a high acceptance/approval rate ?
I need to make $280 in a few days and I’ve signed up for cash advances but they only offer me $25, and one $50.
Is there a method to get a higher cash advance of $70-200 so I won’t need to register for like 20 apps? I am genuinely desperate I’d do 20 cash advance sign ups if no other options 😭
