Everlasting Warmth

Simple spell to draw on your clothes or inside your home.

Edit: The repetition signs likely won't keep the spell from running out. Instead, they will maintain a steady baseline temperature.

Betrayeds Revenge

Despite what the spells named; there is no revenge in the casting of this spell, except for the caster.

Essentially a fragile yet explosive corpse bomb. Tattooed somewhere on the corpses of enemies, reanimates them as undead that, if hit at all, will explode. Big boom boom.

(It’s not forbidden if they were already dead🤷🏻‍♂️)

PRACTICAL APPLICATION: I mean the guards loved ones are just sitting in that graveyard. They’re already rotting, why not give them a family reunion?

Musou no Hitotachi Atelier Style

Tried to mimic a similar effect. This spell does not have an enormous radius, but you can improve it with blood-ink.

The contraption can be stylized. Get yourself a good craftsman/craftswoman, and design your own space-cutting weapon!

This is surprisingly legal, if its radius is kept small.

Any name suggestions for this spell?

Sigilkiller Exploit Spell

A spell built perfectly along the circular center of a Möbius strip, it has no clear interior or exterior, consuming all incomplete sigils and spells nearby as part of itself.

I imagine it could have different effects depending on your interpretation:

-It would result in every sigil drawn even outside itself to be considered part of itself; thus, when completed, it instantly triggers itself and any sigils; turning them into erroneous energy, probably making spellcasting impossible

-It instantaneously triggers every nearby sigil and spell in itself probably blowing up like a nuke

-Magic just crashes and spells stop working

-It just spins infinitely around itself at incredible speeds releasing tons of energy anyway

So either a magic jammer, a nuke, or a strong spinning weapon lol

How it works:

I think you probably have to draw it on some strong material, probably some stone or metal so it can be allowed to be bent by the earth sigils.

-A set of sigils pushes outwards on one side, while pulling inwards in the other side, resulting in a inwards rotation motion, while enabling ribbon-like motion on the surface material.

-Repeating sigils repair the motion sigils every time they're considered to be on the inside, repairing the spell and repeating it once it goes back inside.

-Sigils shrink the interior and expand the exterior to account for the difference in radius, while using strength signs to assist in keeping the material intact.

-Bending signs help in the main ring

-Conflicting diamond and window signs that will simultaneously be in the inside and outside

If you're wondering what the particles are, they aren't from light sigils but just the energy from repeated casting every time it turns around itself, or from trying to cast nearby sigils.

I present you a pretty easy and strong spell: Instant meatball

I believe it should work like this: when engraved on an object it should first crush it, pull everything towards the center with a lot of force and then reduce its size to the size of a meatball.

It can be used for many different porpoises and I can't think of a single bad thing that could happen if used by someone with nefarious intent. Not a single bad thing ...

Tired of spells that wouldn’t work? Here, have something functional - a genuine healing spell

This spell, drawn with waterproof ink on a bandage, acts as magical stitches of sorts, holding wounds closed until they can either heal on their own or proper medical treatment can be administered. It will automatically wrap when applied and is self drying, but it ONLY works on slash wounds, with SOME effectiveness for puncture wounds. Remember, It can’t heal injuries, but it CAN stabilize them.

The inner central spell is what stabilizes the wound. Bind makes the spell stick to the skin while pull signs pull the wound shut and inverted crush signs partially realign the two halves of the wound. It won’t put things back together or repair the injury (see the spell “integration”), but it DOES help seal up the wound to slow bleeding. The glaives on the exterior of the center portion also help the spell to reach deeper into the body so the spell can pull the cleaved sub-dermal tissue back together as well.

Next, the outer center circle has strengthen and entwine signs that make the bandage more durable and help it automatically wrap around the wound for faster application.

Lastly, the two spells on the sides are drying spells that only work on tbe object they are drawn on (in this case, the bandage). This helps to promote clotting and keep the bandage too dry for bacteria to multiply in, all without drying up the wound itself, which would prevent healing and only make the injury worse.

When someone comes to you saying they’ve made some kind of magical miracle, don’t believe them. This is the kind of engineering and consideration it takes to make even ONE healing spell, and it doesn’t even fix anything, just makes it easier for your body to heal itself normally.

Magic is tricky. Don’t underestimate it.

Forced Exsanguination and Blood Manipulation

I made a simple [Blood] Sigil and wanted to do something with it, so naturally I invented Haemomancy (blood magic).

[Gather] [Blood] from the immediate area, forcefully [Pull]-ing it out in a twisting motion. It will then [Converge] towards the central sigil to be freely [Puppet] manipulated or used as a [Bolt] projectile.

I would have liked to add [Glaive] around the smaller circles to denote that the spell is actively biting into the flesh to form wounds from which to gather blood but I couldn't figure out.

How to zoom out on Spell Maker? I had to just make everything smaller, and the surrounding circles are technically signs, and I had to add the connecting lines in Paint.

Hi, this spell should work, right?

It's supposed to summon a fire dragon high up in the sky, that's controlled by the summoner, and collects fire as it flies so it grows in size and power. The repetition signs are so it would keep healing itself if it got destroyed or something happened to it. I'm not sure if they wouldn't collide with the gather signs, but if they would then you could use it like a transportation of flames, ex: Dragon flies over a fire, takes the flames, flies over a lake, drops the fire it took because of the repetition signs.

>!Also, if you were a brimmed cap you could use this to control fires so they reign even more destruction.!<

Golden Drone Strike Spell

Hello, this is my first time commenting on this subreddit, and I wanted to share my first spell with you. I hope you like it.

Although I haven't watched the anime or read the manga yet, the magic system fascinated me enough to spend hours researching how it works and all the details behind spell creation. Using the wiki, specific scenes from the anime and manga, and examples from other users on this subreddit, I did my research and created my first spell. This spell is a response to the small "challenge" posted by user u/Fit-Challenge-1111 in their post: https://www.reddit.com/r/WitchHatAtelier/s/fD718N7V0q

Obviously, this spell is based on many conjectures and theories since the exact workings of most of its components are still unknown. However, since I'm relying heavily on existing spells (that appeared in the anime or manga), I'm almost certain it will work without much trouble.

If my spell works as intended, drawing the seal on an object will transform it into a mentally controlled drone (likely using the user's vision) that will turn any living being it touches into a statue made of the same material as the object. For this example, and to complete the challenge, the sealed object will be a gold ingot or something else made of gold. Congratulations! You now have a golden drone that turns anyone it touches into a golden statue.

The seal's function isn't that complicated; the challenge lies in explaining it clearly. Essentially, this spell is a combination of the forbidden petrification spell and the cloak spell. The outer circles are responsible for lifting the object into the air and allowing the user to control it like a drone, while the inner circle is responsible for turning living beings into statues of the same material as the object.

The logic behind the design of the outer circles is quite obvious. The Puppet Sign, combined with the Wind Sigil, allows the user to lift the object into the air and control it, while the Vision Sign enables visual control. To increase carrying capacity and speed, I incorporated four of these circles connected to the central circle by a line.

The speculation begins with the inner circle, as little is known about how the petrification spell works. My interpretation, based on its construction and arrangement of symbols, is that the petrification spell doesn't actually turn things into stone, but rather "makes reality believe" that the affected things are made of stone. The petrification effect of this spell is like the status effects in a video game; to the game world and mechanics, the affected player appears to be stone, but essentially, they are not. Simply put, the spell doesn't replace the affected object with stone, but rather transforms it into something with the properties and appearance of stone.

Having a concrete theory of how it works makes defining the function of the symbols that make up the seal much easier. To begin with, the central sigil most likely represents the process of "applying status effects," while the other four semicircular sections (those containing the Time Stop Sigil and the other unknown sigils) are possibly special properties that the spell applies to whatever it affects. Time Stop to prevent petrified things from aging, one to continuously collect and supply magic so the transformation doesn't undo, one to keep living beings trapped by it alive, and so on. Then, based on what can be observed in the anime, the known signs, and the similarity of the unknown signs to known ones, it's possible to conclude that the combination of signs used for the spell results in its propagation from solid to solid, like an infection. This means that the spell doesn't turn air into stone, nor is it capable of spreading through it; it requires contact between two solids to propagate. It also likely has a maximum propagation radius, but that, like many other things, can only be theorized. For my own purposes, I kept all of this largely unchanged.

The changes begin with the ring of "fork flowers" and "strange bowls," which appears to be where the spell's targets are defined. It's already known that Glaives Signs are specific to determining how much a spell affects the body; the "fork flowers" must be a variation of these. As for the "strange bowls," by process of elimination, we can deduce that they represent the other thing the petrification spell affects: inanimate objects. Precisely to increase the user's safety, and since the objective is specifically to turn people into golden statues, the "strange bowls" symbols were replaced with Crosshair Signs. The Crosshair Signs, accompanied by the "fork flowers," serve to limit the spell's effects and spread exclusively to living beings, allowing for the safe storage and reuse of the golden drone without turning you and everything around you into gold in the process.

The next change is in the ring that follows, where I replaced the Earth Sigils of the original petrification spell with Window Signs. The only thing left to define in this spell is the material things are being transformed into, and that's probably what this ring does. The logic is simple: the petrification spell transforms things into stone because it had the Earth Sigil assigned as its material. As for my spell, having the Window Sign, it uses the object on which the seal is drawn (the gold drone) as its material reference. Therefore, the spell would now transform things into that same material: gold.

My Witch Hat oc Auperro

This is my wonderful, flashy, EXTREMELY EVIL MAN. Auperro. My first Witch Hat Atelier oc! He's obsessed with gold and transmuting things (especially living ones) into gold. He's not only a doctor but a scientist, searching for the key to immortality through the secrets of ancient civilizations. And to Auperro the key is GOLD. Unfortunately though the more patients that go missing the more people like to snoop around and that puts a damper on scientific progress.

My absolute favorite types of characters are villains and my favorite kinds of villains are mad scientists. Often times they are the worst most evil sorts of villains and I loooove that.

So any sorts of fun gold related spells please send my way :^).

Let’s explore spatial magic! My first experiment with windowways.

Whiles kids play with their nuclear bomb**™** spells, I would like to discuss with local scholars the prospects of violating the space-time continuum.

I present mu first (but not last) spell from such category. It is two clipping portals. The spell uses symbols derived from those currently available to us within the established canon.

  1. First circle self-explanatory, it is using for activating our "fuck the all inside" spell.

  2. Second circle is a giant sign of Puppet which is combined with signs of Sphere and one big sign of "Diamond". The last is used to isolate windowways from the surface they will be created. This interpretation is slightly far-fetched, but I like it. Spheres then used to wrap two portals into spheres.

3 and 4. Windowways with signs of Enlarging and Reduction, they are used to clip two spheres into each other.

So what will happen after? Honestly I DON'T KNOW but I have two theories.

  1. Two clipping portals will create an indestructible barrier. To put it briefly, because of the way portals work, we’ll actually be able to separate what’s inside from our reality. I think so. This could have practical applications. And it’s relatively safe!

  2. Right, now for the fun bit. Because the portals will overlap and create an infinitely thin space (effectively creating a true 2D object), we might observe some interesting effects. Perhaps most importantly, this could lead to the creation of objects that are mathematically possible but physically impossible; the simplest example would be a perfect sphere. I reckon some of you might have heard of this concept, and might even know what the ‘problem’ with it is. It’s deadly for everybody, perhaps even for the entire universe.

Combo spells yall

I had an idea for a pretty simple two part spell for spying as well as search and rescue.

Bloody Pseudo-Dragon

All you need for components is a small vial of blood (any blood will do, but human blood works best). The spell essentially reshapes and hardens the blood into a small pseudo dragon made entirely out of blood.

Once the pseudo-dragon is made, using a specialized “Sharp Stamp” you can essentially brand the second seal onto the lil puppets forehead.

“Summoners sight”

Place a drawn version of the seal on a piece of paper stuck onto your own forehead to share the senses of the puppet to your own view.

Practical uses: summon a few of them and use them to survey an area without having to put yourself in danger!

Lips-Sealing Spell

Tired of hearing that witch's voice that never shuts up? We have the solution! Lips-Sealing Spell will save your ears, and those of anyone else nearby!

Only rule (very important): DON'T USE IT ON ITS CREATOR!

This would ideally be a contraption, but I didn't design it yet.
