I thought there was something so odd and audacious about her photo dumps but I had no idea that she was so diabolical until this last episode where it showed midWest text “best day ever” in the group chat after making up with Ciara and Amanda lost her mind. It has been under her skin for all of these months that midWest said that about a day with Ciara. She is a literal child.

Remember the picture of the sunset with the text “you again”? It would be so amazing if one of his other hook ups shared a similar text.

“looking out” for KJ regarding his relationship with Dara gave me major ick. Ciara would have JUMPED if westd tried to DTR as “quickly” as KJ did, no questions asked. Where is this girls’ girl energy everyone speaks of? Dara is generally unproblematic, KJ is happy, and they’re causing 0 problems in terms of the dynamic of the house. Seems icky and giving jealous.

I Don't Think I'll Ever Understand

I'll admit that I am captivated by this Amanda/Ciara situation. But mostly confused.

Back in 2011, my best friend and I had a bad falling out and ended our friendship. We moved to different apartments and never spoke again. I was mad at her, she was mad at me.

About a month later, I learned that she was dating the guy that I had a (very unhealthy) crush on and had previously hooked up with. Mind you, she HATED him. Like, she was disturbed that I liked him. Years later, I now understand that she fucked him out of spite. Ok.

But, what on earth could Ciara have done to Amanda for her to behave like this? I'm not even talking about just the dating of West. But, the secrecy, the breadcrumbs, the gallivanting all over NY, the nastinessin the leaked audio. Why be so mean about it? This could have been handled so differently.

I don't think I'm looking for an answer, I just don't understand. 😅 Are people just THAT mean?

Has something like this happened to anyone? (Not my situation, but the C +A situation.) Did you ever make sense of it?

Which of the real housewives (past or current) do you think is the most well-known across both fans and people who don’t watch Bravo?

I know I’m gonna get hate for this, but I’m posting for the OGs - there is a big difference in us bravo fans who were watching Kathy Griffin be on the D list and the Fab 5 before they were nice, and yes, when housewives came out, we were there in Coto de Casa watching the OC Angels being sexually harassed by disgusting old men pushing them to wear the tiniest string bikinis. We watched Kim and Kyle‘s showdown in the limo LIVE, baby!

And we have stuck by Bravo for decades. through thick and thin, like Caroline Manzo’s fambily.

and now, here we are in the new era. we see people every day in the subreddits with people saying they’re watching these shows for the first time, and that’s great! but let’s face it… these new fans have brought a new culture to Bravodom, and it’s obsessive to extreme levels that are oftentimes cringe to watch.

Someone had to say it. And now we said it.

I am genuinely trying to understand the narrative around Kyle and Amanda. Many redditors and people in general focus on Kyle's behavior, but Amanda hit him multiple times on camera correct? If that is what she was comfortable doing in front of everyone, it raises fair questions about what happens when cameras are not rolling.

Let’s be candid for a second if the roles were reversed and a man hit a woman on camera, there is no way he would still be on the show, let alone given the space to continue his storyline or pursue other relationships.

I believe people are better than their worst moments. But ignoring one side while amplifying the other is not the fairness that I believe bravo is trying to portray. It is a double standard and when that becomes normalized in media, it is worth calling out.
I also find it odd no one is worried about West' safety in terms of domestic violence in reference to Amanda. I have yet to see a comment even describing that sentiment.

In fact I need someone to tell me what Kyle has done to Amanda that she has not done to him? She has said “f$&k you” to him numerous times. Then her friend say he shouldn’t talk to you like that, but you can definitely tell him “f$&k you….”
